Whilst Roxas and Xion may have been created from Sora, they are still clearly their own people who possess skills and abilities completely unique to them. Roxas for instance is the more competent dual wielder out of him and Sora, whilst Xions power over light seems to be unparalleled by anyone. Sora seems to be more of an Everyman, he’s good at everything with no clear weakness but lacks an overwhelming attribute.

That's true. Because in the manga, Xion is shown to be much more proficient with magic whereas Roxas outright stated himself he sucks at magic.

@@silvereyes242 I understand what your saying but I feel like Roxas has shown greater control over light. Xion’s close though for sure. Also Sora can easily have the greatest power over light if he focuses on it the way they do.

@@joncarlos1 Light magic and regular magic are different tho. Roxas is very proficient in light magic and is pretty much all he uses in battle. Look at his data fight.

@@jamesklaus2260 Having played against both Xion and Roxas in their data battles I found Xion to be the far more challenging opponent when it comes to her light based abilities. Throughout the battle Xion teleports and transforms into an orb of light that travels so fast that the in game camera can’t keep up with her, all the while she’s firing fast moving lasers from all angles. Not to mention that some of those lasers can periodically lower your health to the extreme, making it a true test of survival at all costs. This is further compounded by her heavy stuns which basically result in death every time unless you’re very lucky to escape. Her final limit is absurd too, with the stage becoming an obstacle course of light beams spiralling out from the centre of the stage, as Xion teleports around and attacks you with violent circling red and blue lasers from all directions. Roxas is very good with light but I don’t feel as though his skill with the element is comparable to Xion’s. I feel Roxas is more dangerous up close than she is, but the power of light is truly Xion’s domain.

victor hoang Kairi did better than axel which was a pleasant surprise considering he has a lot more real world combat experience. Can’t really fault her for getting captured by Xemnas when you considered Sora got captured by the same attacks and in kh2 had to be rescued by Riku

Kairi also survives the armoured xehanort fight and beats him up

I mean I think Xion's mind was too muddled to really fight at her best until her present heart and body were united and she was truly recompleted. Norted Xion was unstable and basically only able to draw from her earliest days and copying abilities on top of that instablity.

These are data battles so they literally aren't the canon power levels

That's because each boss counters a certain playstyle, Xion looks like she is vulnerable to a defensive playstyle

Had trouble with Xion initially, but now it’s not that hard as I’ve fought her many times. She is my favourite boss fight in any game. It’s just so much fun

Agreed, Xion’s melee attacks,whilst strong, look wild and unfocused in comparison to Sora or Roxas. Her ability with light however, more than makes up for this weakness and appears to be far more advanced. The way in which she zips around the battlefield whilst simultaneously firing out controlled lasers makes her an overwhelming opponent, and a hard target to hit. She’s definitely underrated.

I kinda like the "choosing a boss" option to open the video! Also I'm not sure if the attack effects are darker! It's possible. I'll have to check that out

@@AndrewUchiha4747 You are confused because kingdom heart lore is very terrible. First of all it not possible anymore for Roxas to wield 2 keyblade (plot hole). Secondly, in 358/2 "The two that becomes one can only be equip to Roxas and it makes sense for him either with the example that him and Xion became one or him and Sora are becoming one. Xion whole thing is she a puppet. And she separated from everything...you know forgotten.

Maria Paz G. Lesme I wonder how powerful Xion is canonically, actually. I know Roxas is stupid powerful, Kairi and Axel are both pretty strong, but Xion... never really got expanded upon. Maybe she’s stronger than both Axel and Kairi, but weaker than Roxas and Sora?

Jammy 280 canon wasn’t the right word, I more meant how powerful she is relative to the others.

It’s always been somewhat unclear how powerful Xion really is, as in many situations she has often held herself back or been in a state of fragile mind/body. Her previous body was extremely complex, as it was loaded with Sora’s memories and power she was absorbing from Roxas; making her an unstable creation that could either be overwhelmingly strong or very weak. Now that she has a new vessel and is no longer connected to Sora’s memories I think we will get a better picture of her true ability as her existence is much more stable. It was said however by Axel, that “Xion is dangerous” and that between her and Roxas, Xemnas stated he considered Xion the more worthy vessel. Based on her data fight I think she may very well be just as strong as Roxas.

@@silvereyes242 I think Xion if they keep expanding on it will turn out weaker than Roxas with a Keyblade, but she'll make up for it with better magic useage and her crazy blue mage powers to ultimately be yeah pretty much a match for him.

During one of the interviews, it was mentioned that the developers wanted to make this game as accessible to newcomers as possible. I think the reason everything was easy for veterans is because they wanted to make sure a newcomer would be able to get through everything!

A. leafaR Here is what I come up with: • For the time displaced members in Replica vessels, it’s all Vexen’s fault. Since it was revealed that Vexen was secretly a good guy and one who made the replicas, he must’ve intentionally tampered with the vessels so that it would restrict the users from using their full power. That way, the heroes can easily beat them especially with the 3 main Norts. • As for the Nobodies, it’s a long shot but here goes. Chances are that they restarted to a lower level after reverting back to normal and back to Nobodies again. This also applies to Lea and another reason as to why he needed Keyblade training. While they do maintain their old weapons and some attacks, they probably didn’t have time to regain their full strength as to how it is in their data battles. I also like to note a few things: * Even if Xigbar was comparable to his data, he would just hold back and lose so that he could fake his death and continue his role as Luxu. * Saix was also a double agent who was struggling to hold back Xehanort’s fragment long enough for the heroes to beat him. *Xion probably wasn’t in the right state of mind to go all out upon hearing Axel’s name. That might be intentional on Saix part so that she might return to normal. Her revival might caused a power drop without a piece of Xehanort inside her. Terranort was probably dealing with internal resistance from Terra’s heart and maybe Lingering Will which caused him to focus some of his strength to subdue them. Even if Xehanort foresaw these issues, they probably don’t matter as the organization’s defeat is acceptable as long as the fighting forges the X-blade. • Speaking of Master Xehanort, there are possible two main factors: -Now that he has finally obtained the X-blade and on the verge of victory, his arrogance and being drunk on power was in the way. Xehanort doesn’t feel like needing to use OP attacks on opponents that are he considered inferior. And even if Sora almost beaten him, he already had the power of darkness and Kingdom Hearts itself to one shot him which Xehanort did but underestimated the hero’s power of friendship. - Xehanort also had to split his power to his revived Replicas to deal with the other Guardians. Having the Replicas be destroyed and reformed into one extremely powerful Xehanort only to be destroyed again must’ve really taxed on the real Xehanort’s heart long enough for Sora to defeat him once and for all. Or its just video game bs but I like to differ. What’s your head canon?
