I could be wrong, but in remind, when they gather, they mentioned they made 20 vessels other than Riku Replica and No. I (Xion), and the first 12 were barely human. Maybe these vessels are the barely human ones? And they activated carrying the keys from the clashes? Which is why they represent the other 12 seekers? 🤔
Got to theater mode and realized I made a slight mistake, while they did mention the 12 unhuman ones, RR and Xion were no. 13 and 14, the first human-like ones. That leaves us 6 + 1 more I think Even made in secret. Out of the six remaining replicas in the ORG 5 are used in 3 for the time travelers and the last remaining one brought Xion back it seems. (and from those 5, Time travel RR was used to bring back Naminé) I remembered 22 replicas were made overall, but it was 20 according to Saix. 21 if you count the extra one Even made to bring back Roxas. I even got pinned for my theory and managed to screw up.
It could still be true, in theory, since there are 12 failed replicas. I just failed to count properly the ones that didn't fail, with RR and Xion there would have been 22, 2 more than in my og comment, and saix mentions them being in the 20 batch, big memory fail on my part. Then again, replicas becoming the armor seems weird...
"As part of Xehanort's final plan, Vexen is recruited to refine the initial twelve replicas to make them closer to real humans, which are converted into the Replica Xehanorts." - The KHWiki page for the Replica Xehanorts So, yeah, they ARE the refined prototypes, judging by the looks of it.
The vessels look awesome. A big fan that each of them has different weapons based of their users. The music sounds amazing. It's cool to know Sora could bop them after being tired from previous fights and still continue fighting Xehanort. A beast. Also great video as always, and 100% follow Damo! He's a nice guy and puts just as much effort into his videos too. The only criticism I have for the fight is that I wish each armor had its own size.
Still insane how these 12 vessels were the first 12 Replicas that were failures, and were eventually completed by Vexen so they get used in the final battle
I hope future installments continue to focus narrative points on Ienzo and Even. I was satisfied with their roles in 3's plot, especially with how instrumental they were in Roxas' return.
Christian Nichols I kinda didn’t like that aspect of it, I feel like the whole point of going to TT was really all for nothing and we never had to even go back for anything when in reality they could’ve made the answers not be related to science at all, I mean when you think about it that’s just kinda too simple in a way? Maybe not “simple” in a normal sense but like the fact that all we needed was people to create an empty body able to withhold a soul basically is like... just not that interesting or exciting to me, every time they talked about anything to do with replicas it just doesn’t entertain me as a player
Something I think would make this fight better if u had to deal with all twelve of the Vessels had their own health bar and the more u manage to defeat the more aggressive the others become
I do think that would be cool, but IMHO it would drag the fight for too long and frustrate the more casual players, particularly after the battles at the Keyblade Graveyard. Some people just wanted to fight the old coot himself, y'know.
Maybe Xigbar is always the first to attack because he is the last seeker alive? I know Xion is still alive as well as Terra but at that point they are aligned with the guardians so maybe Xigbar always taking initiative is a subtle hint that his is still alive
The alternative spawn, at least from my experience, only happens at the spawn point at the center of the arena, roughly halfway between the two keyhole gates. If you avoid that area when they aren’t active, you’ll never deal with that spawn.
After thinking about it for some time. The Static effect that Surrounds Xehanort is similar from Xemnas in KH1 and KH2. After Xemnas is defeated in both cases these static effects appear all around him. I'd say the Static shows Xehanort is nearly out of time.
Actually i think the replicas we fight in the base game and remind are different, i belive the replicas in the base game are just the souls, xehanort essence within the org members, and those in remind are just the no names keyblade taking form, by using kh
I have no doubt that Nomura surely intends for them to be one and the same. The way I see it, Xehanort absorbs these replicas for a power boost, resulting in the armor, but after he is defeated as Armored Xehanort, he breaks the armor, releasing the replicas, and sends them into the Keyblade Graveyard to assault the other guardians while he deals with past Sora, Donald and Goofy with the χ-blade.
The reason why Aero magic and Light based magic works effectivly is because the vessels share the same HP. Same concept with the Larxene clones in KH2FM using Magnet magic.
Didn’t realize so much about this fight! Been months since I saw your stuff since I was avoiding ReMind spoilers until I finally got it on my birthday 2 months ago. 😅 Definitely would looove to see a Yozora breakdown. That fight is tooough beyond measure.
Simba also destroys them, and a data fight would be cool with all the vessels using moves from the other data fights. The red lasers that appear before a strike of dark holy reminds me of the spinning laser attack that Ansem does with his orbs.
Nice Analysis! I was curious if you are gonna do the fight with Asnem, Xemnas, and Young Xehanort before you do analysis for each Master Xehanort fight?
Thanks! I may do that. I've been trying to work on breakdowns that I'm interested in rather than staying in a series but that was an interesting fight so maybe I'll take a look at it soon!
Greatest Of All Time As far as KH villains go, probably accurate, if only for that time he was voiced by Spock, though we'll see how things shake out in the future.
I never saw their Ultimate Attack. I got to level 99 on Easy and had buffed myself up with so many Strength/Magic/Defense Ups that I just instakilled them with Infinity Circle.
@@BioRoxas To be fair, it's not a very hard boss fight. On Easy/Standard/Proud anyway. On Critical Mode or with PRO Codes, good luck with those. You're gonna need it.
KH3 make it clear, Xehanort's Keyblade is called Gazing Eye. MoM when sayed the Keyblade is no name (not capitalized) he mean he have LITERALLY no name. No Name is a completly different Keyblade. Luxu called MoM Keyblade "Gazing Eye" since in both secret reports in KH3 and in the opening of KH3 Luxu/Xigbar and Xehanort call the Keyblade in that way.
I don't think it has been completely confirmed that that is the name of the keyblade. I thought the same thing when I read the reports but I'm not sure if Luxu was simply just referring to the Gazing Eye lodged in the keyblade or if he was calling it by name.
And not to mention the 8 perfect Replicas were used to bring back Xion, Roxas, Naminè, Dark Riku, Vanitas, Young Xehanort, Xemnas, and Ansem. So these 12 out of the 20 makes sense based off math lol
Would a dark “holy” spell be called “unholy” cuz if so that seems like a badass name for any attack. Just imagine a boss yelling out UNHOLY!!! As beams of darkness rain down from the sky
