The car was driven by Darrel Brooks who was having a grown man temper tantrum as he fled the scene of his last crime (punching a woman in the face and hitting HER with the car.) Then he made a further ass of himself trying to act as his own lawyer in court. He was found guilty on all charges.

This was no accident. Milwaukeeans consider Waukesha a conservative city. The suspect did this intentionally. This happened where my family frequently goes to walk.
This is one of my favorite video clips from the whole trial because it really helped to put things in perspective in order and in the right context and since we the public don’t get to see everything the jury or the witnesses get to see this is the first time after watching this that I feel I have a pretty clear knowledge of the path he took the victims as he mowed them down It position to everybody so we could really get a picture in a sense and I begin to feel my heart break for the people of the situation I am a mother who is buried her child and I know the pain of your child being stolen from you but a maniac by violence my daughter was killed with a gun but it’s still death by violence at the hands of another thank you so much for posting this

This video is ridiculous. You make it seem like he only crashed into people over the distance of 200 feet (Divino Gelato to Metropolitan Antiques & Gifts, the buildings your labels are positioned in front of) then drove the entire rest of the route without hitting anyone. My dance team was directly in front of the Catholic Community of Waukesha and narrowly missed getting hit ourselves. The only thing that saved us was that the speaker for our music wasn't very loud so we heard the people behing us yelling out a warning and were able to turn around just in time to jump, or in one little girl's case, get pulled out of the way. We were right in front of the Waukesha Tattoo Company, just before Main St turns the corner into N West Ave and over a third of a mile from where he first started hitting people in front of Divino Gelato. If you watch the livestream of the Dancing Grannies passing the webcam, you will see that they were so spread out that their group alone would have taken up at least two buildings worth of the route. It took almost a minute and a half for their 11 participants (2 banner holders and 9 dancers) to pass the camera. Despite the fact that they had 1.5 to 2 car lengths between each of their rows and each row had only 1 or 2 people who were marching in near the exact center of the street, making them the easiest group to avoid hitting, 4 of their 11 individuals were killed. By compressing the distance containing victims so drastically and including a POV that continues down the entire actual path of destruction as if it were not included in the attack, there is no other conclusion to arrive at than you deliberately misrepresenting the evidence to make it seem as though this was an accident rather than an active and continuous decision to hit as many people as possible. You should be ashamed of yourself for this slap in the face to everyone who was affected by this horrific act. If I were you I would remove this video and allow people to instead find all of the other maps and timelines of the incident that were published with a modicum of journalistic integrity.

You have every right to be angry about what happened that day, we all are. But I doubt any video could ever accurately capture the true extent of the murder, maiming, and horror that occurred that day. I appreciate this simplified video to help those of us who were not there to understand it in some capacity. So sorry for the trauma that you have endured.

I appreciate the animation, but according to court testimony, the perpetrator actually came down White Rock Ave and made right turn onto Main St. And yes, blew thru the street barricades.

@@walterpalmer6312 I think you misunderstood the point they were making. They are upset that the video DIDN'T name Brooks or even say a person did this. They chose to leave it to "a vehicle". It wasn't a vehicle that did this, it was Darrell Brooks. On top of that, the video simplified it so much that it looks like it was a short distance and then he drives away. He drove and repeatedly hit people for a very long time with multiple opportunities to get out of the parade route.
