Saw your K5 and all the group trucks at LST on Saturday. Looking great and you made a lot of progress before leaving town for the trip. I was surprised you got enough done to be able to drive it there. Only the one fuel pump wire issue on a new build I would say is very successful. Looks like you all had a good time.

Wouldn't be a road trip without some type of sh*t happening! Funny story, when I got my LS swap "done" several years ago I was headed back from a show and stopped at a gas station. Got back in the truck, went to start it and BAM, it sounded like a shotgun went off. Long story short, intake manifold pressure blew out the large delete plug for the EGR. It flew out so hard, I had a dent and paint missing in my wheel tub under the hood, lol. Luckily I found it, hammered it back in and made it home. Glad ya'll made it and hate I missed the show this year. P.S. that's my same reaction to Bud Light lol.

Loveee how the ubtk5 turned out 👍🏼 finally got one of my own, a ‘77 GMC jimmy and I’m very excited to begin messing with it, wasn’t as long of a road trip like this one but getting people together for these old trucks is always just as fun👍🏼

You guys should add more merch. Like those custom seat covera in the ubt k5. Man i love those, i would love one for my bench seat in my 84 c10. Just a suggestion. Love the k5 and all the trucks you guys get. You guys do an awesome job every time!

Driving without wipers drives me nuts, I stuck with it but not sure if I will again, I just have to see out windows. I was headed home, wipers had quit and being young didn't help. I got stopped by cop and he said clear vision or park... and our faces pointed at the dirt... cop tells me me git out so I do and he climbs in and kicks my glass out and said now your good to go.... wet and miserable, got home faces froze so my wipers work now

Sucks I couldn’t see it my Airbnb got cancelled 3 days before I was supposed to leave and it wasn’t worth spending 3x as much for a place. That drive sure looks like all of us local when we load up to hit a show most are super ironed out and dead reliable but always a couple that throw a fit and fight you
