The ZV-E10 paired with the sigma 1.4 30mm is great, but sometimes you could lock the focus 'cause it sometimes looses it

wow this looks really good! Do you recommend this zve10 or the a6700 as a first camera ? i really like the evf, bigger battery, stabilisation, 4k60 & 4K120 on the a6700

If you can afford it, get the a6700! I love the ZVE10, but the a6700 is a much more capable camera. The 10 bit color is a huge upgrade too.

Thank you so much! I’m excited to make more. I shot in SLOG3 and edited it in Final Cut Pro. I used a conversion lut, then a stylistic lut, and a few more adjustment layers for contrast and color and masking!

Thank you! This wasn’t a film emulation. This was a combination of a conversion lut, a stylistic lut, and some masking.

I actually linked the one I used down in the description! I like that one for a few reasons: clasp legs not twist legs, plenty tall, it can do over head shots, and has a ball head. It’s been great had it for about 4 years now

I shot this in SLOG3, which people typically don't do with an 8-bit camera. And then in Final Cut Pro I added a rec 709 conversion LUT and then another stylistic LUT that I got for free. Most shots then also have an exposure/contrast masked later as well.

Are you shooting at f1.4? If so, that might be the problem. Try easing that a bit, but I can make a video for you going over that if you’d like!

4k and 24 fps! When I shoot in 30 fps on this camera there is a crop, so I keep it at 24 fps. Also, #cinematic

How did you shoot this? Was it one long video while moving your tripod around for different shots then edit? or its start and stops of the shots you want?

I used a tripod and just thought of different shots and shot them as seperate clips. I threw them all on a time line and cut them down to the most relevant portions. Then I found a good song and tried to line things up!

@@iceman-elektrischunterwegs3099 It depends! They are both fantastic lenses, but different. The 30mm is obviously almost twice as zoomed in. I think it depends on what you plan to use it for. If you plan on holding the camera and filming yourself then definitely get the 16mm. But neither one of them will be able to do EVERYTHING. I would suggest get the 16mm to start and then when you can, upgrade to the 30mm. OR Take a look at the Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 for the best of both worlds.

@@erichunsicker I found a nice video with the lenses: 16, 30, 56 and 18-50mm. As I find it so difficult to choose, I have a question: as the 18-50 is so great, I don't really understand why you should even get a 16, 30 or 56mm lens? What disadvantage does the 18-50mm have for someone?

@@iceman-elektrischunterwegs3099 The 16, 30, and 56 all have an f1.4 aperture so it will get blurrier background and let more light in. The 18-50 f2.8 is a better all around lens where as the other 3 are better at those individual focal lengths. THAT is the great debate between prime lenses (single focal lengths like the 16, 30 and 56) and zoom lenses - like the 18-50mm.

Make your davinci setting as Davince WG/Intermediate color space and output timeline as Rec 709/ gamma 2.4... Create 1st node and drop CST effect where you convert the Sony sLog3 to Davinci WG/Intermediate and then Create 2nd node, drop CST and convert it from Davinci WG to Rec 709/2.4....In between 1 and 2nd node you can apply your color grading and corrections If you want NR then do it before 1st node CST and for any specific look development (eg teal orange) create it in separate timeline node structure...
