It could be a dispatch call issue "there's a man in his car staring out the window and it's weird" by the time it gets to the cop, the call comes through as "there's a man with a car staring into windows and it's creepy" haha
crime = breaking statutes, legality sin = breaking law Law is above legality. It is established for the earth. Legality is man's rules. Why does one man think they have the right to impose rules over another? Consider the law to see if that is allowed. Thus, the law shows that the police in this case are the only wrongdoers.
+The Emporor's New Clothes even if it isn't a law if you have nothing to hide why give the cops such a hard time I see so many videos of ppl refusing to show id I don't understand to big protest about it their doing their job if I seen a guy sitting in a car that didn't belong in our neighborhood id wanna know what up too
***** whatever dipshit, you know nothing about the law or you wouldn't be so ignorant. You do not have to ID - I even gave you the court case to look up. I have been through more than you ever have and achieved more. You and lyndsey are probably brother and sister playing with each other at grandma's house
+David Welch really dude thats so mature thats why you've been through things because your ignorant that was so unnecessary to talk nasty who raised you to talk to women or anyone like that you should feel a inch hi
I had the RU-vid account long before I was homeless, and it's free. The cell phone is on an installment plan. I made a decent amount of money in the past few months collecting signatures for ballot initiative's, so I rented a car for two months. I'm homeless because Homeland security has actively sabotaged my life: apatriotacted.blogspot.com
+Seth Aronson hey brother if you're still home right and if you want to and make your way out this way 2 Palmdale California.. I have an extra room and you're more than welcome to it. I also own my own construction company you're more than welcome to work with us also. I might not have a whole lot of work like the Union but we do get enough to tie us over and provide for our families. let me know bro. Keep your head up bro and stay encouraged. God Bless
"I see you're eating breakfast there. I'm just going to do a little fishing expedition. Give me your ID so I can walk off with it and try and make up an excuse to arrest you."
Normally I would say don’t give ID or answer questions but this was way more satisfying to see them get everything they wanted and still get exposed as liars... got to love our rights slowly being eroded away...
LMFAO I love it! Man you read him and called him out! I love reading people also. Confidence is a easy thing to pick up on when you study and interact with people enough. Keep that up and stay safe! Glad you had some fun with him there.
If the cops would have ignored the calls and a little child would have disappeared from that neighborhood, all you cop haters would be screaming for their heads.
I don't understand the purpose of the video. Police make contact because someone called. There was a polite exchange. Determined nothing was going on and left. Big deal. Yet, it's "Another day, more harassment." There's a song by Tim Wilson called "100 Things Every Man Should Know." One of those things, he sings is, "You been married nine times, hell, maybe it's you." While all of the things in song are for fun, they all actually make good sense. This one means if things are continually happening to you then maybe it's your fault.
1 Heat oven to 375°F. Slit hot dogs to within 1/2 inch of ends; insert 3 strips of cheese into each slit. 2 Separate dough into triangles. Wrap dough triangle around each hot dog. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, cheese side up. 3 Bake at 375°F. for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Here is what civilians don't understand. I am a 21 year police veteran. We get a call from a citizen. We can't just NOT do anything. If we ignore the call we aren't doing our job and we get in trouble. If we answer the call no matter how ridiculous or whatever then we are harassing people. I mean there is no answer nowadays (post Ferguson). discretion does not exist. So, if people want to critique me.....go to the academy and do this job for a bit. You will see a whole other side.
it is because he has nothing to hide and is doing nothing wrong and is cooperative with the local police. Cops show up because someone called in a complaint. He gives the cops respect and they gave it to him in return.
So...if I choose to exercise my rights I have something to hide? Therefore I am guilty. And exercising my rights when speaking with LEOs is disrespect? Glad to see you trust LEOs that are allowed to lie. Thanks for contributing to the police state.
+Sky tographer right...so exercising your rights is suspicious. Legally exercising your right to not be IDed is being disrespectful. You sir are either a cop or an idiot- which given the circumstance could be both.
Joey McAllister excersizing your rights does not include being a dickhead to other people and the cop respected him even after he was a dick to the cop - end of story dudes...
that cop was reasonable having been a van dweller while travelling i had enough common sense to avoid looking in ppls homes and loitering in suburbia eating breakfast in public - that's what truck stops, cafes and public benches and tables are for
Most people making comments have the misconception that just because you are homeless, does not automatically equate to not having a job. There are any number of reasons why he may be homeless... The bank forclosed on his house and he got evicted is a common occurrence. His house burned down is another possibility. He got a job in a new city and the tenants in the apartment or house he has rented haven't cleared out yet. As for everyone claiming he is under no obligation to identify himself, you are wrong. He is seated in the driver seat of a car that he owns. The cops can demand to see his driver's license. :
That lie to me reference totally hit the nail on the head with that one. To an extent, I think the cop WAS professional, right up to the point when he bumped his notepad on the side of your car twice. That right there was sus. You have also just pointed out the problem with American's - They are scared of everything. If a fly flew into their house, they would call the police. Pathetic man, absolutely pathetic.
Those cops actually seemed pretty cool. I laughed when both the guy cops smiled and waved at the camera! And the one cops "Oh, I twitch all day long everyday" joke and he was also about to tell a story about it after to! XD
If someone calls 911 on you then the police have to respond and investigate. A call of that nature does require at least one other officer for backup. They do not know you and they do not know what you are up to. If it is something bad then they need backup to be there now, not five minutes away. They were very polite and professional to you. I am curious about one thing. You can afford to rent a car but you cannot afford a room?
I think it's weird takes 3 office to deal with warrants suspicious person instead of the officers just waiting around the corner in case he needs backup
You are where you are because of the choices you made of your own will. You're in a neighborhood that you don't belong in, living out of a rental. Think about that for a minute. Better yet, in San Diego. Walking around, looking through people's car windows. You know, like a criminal would. You've been lying so long, even you believe it.
when 3 patrolling officers show up they are responding to a call, whether the call was bullshit or not they're obligated to investigate and respond to it. legally he was obligated to provide the ID, has nothing to do with stop & ID. instead of accusing the cop of making shit up (is anyone at all surprised someone would call the police abt a homeless man sitting in a car? lol. people call the police on black people for existing next to them ffs.) just have a conversation and drop the attitude, now the cop thinks he has a reason to think you're suspicious and watch you instead of defend you and look out for you.
you assume hes renting from a company. if that were the case the cop would already know that from the license plate. most likely hes renting from a friend or family. lots of people who work manual labour jobs such as construction NEED transportation. also living out of vehicle lets him relocate easily to new work. its fairly common.
I can understand the police trying to solve the variables. The police also understand how callers can lie. Yet, I realize that police also lie. These police were not like flies (eat poop and bother people).
He could be homeless by choice. I lived in my car for almost a year by choice. All the while I worked a full time job and had income. I just did it to save even more money.
rented from a family or friend for cheap most likely. and not being able to afford rent doesn't mean you instantly lose all your clothes. plenty of working people live out of their cars due to not being able to afford rent.
A lot of people would tell you to not talk to cops, or give them ID. Some of your non-verbal tells like the sighing seemed to indicate that although you dislike the harassment, you’re going to not fight back much so you can get it over with. I don’t know that I would’ve done much differently. But it must get frustrating. Obviously the 3 cops at the door was intimidation at its finest.
Tell them you have been arrested many times. His goal is going to be first. When they run you and nothing shows up. Why is he writing a ticket? Wow that officer is incompetent. Why is he asking that man such questions.
WTF did you give him your ID for? Why did you answer questions? What is the point of uploading this kind of thing when you did nothing but acquiesce and kowtow?
Law Enforcement does not serve and protect - they are there to generate revenue, harass and intimidate. I understand it is overwhelming with them in your face in heat of the moment, but next time, I would have some standard one sentence answers ready that don't give them so much information (to use against you)
Are you a sheep you give your ID give up your rights Fourth Amendment Fifth Amendment it's okay the cops to arrest question you and cop say you have to give ID to explain yourself when you're parked on the street doing nothing illegal I must have mist the new law it is against the law to sit in your car and eat minding your own business
Polite-ish cop but never give info unless arrested. No crime was committed. Oh and anyone else find it funny that the chick cop is the most manly of the three cops. oh and make sure you get badge # next time. I tend to like bacon with breakfast but this is giving me indigestion.
where is the harassment...you ask then if they think you were looking to the windows...what?i mmean if i was the police and someone called me saying that i would just check it genuinely, like he did...the onnly weird about it is that he brought the other two cops...but ok since you were not harassed where is the problem?someone called so he came by to see if you were trully looking at peoplea windows...you know america has a police bruutality problem...but this video is more about how people are trying to hate police when there is no reason(like in this video)
If I saw you parked out in front of my house, I would call the cops. What you were doing is not normal behavior. You are parked in a residential area where you do not live with a video camera. Any reasonable person would assume you are some kind of twisted freak peeping tom getting his jollies.
I don't understand, even if you did look at someone's window, what kind of a crime is that? I'm genuinely concerned, I often look at buildings/windows when I'm walking down a street.
You used a movie to cite that shoulder twitch thing... Im not saying its not true but if all you show is a movie clip than I'm gonna have to say your research is faulty at best
OMG how in the hell is it harassment? Someone called the police, they responded to investigate. You had to start arguing to try to justify you're pointless hatred. yes I agree there are some idiots that have a badge that don't deserve one. I've had my dealings with them as well. These guys though they were just doing there job. good grief
Yea sitting in a nice SUV on the side of the road eating fast food recording with a good quality phone but you're "homeless" do something with your life instead of trying to go viral smh
