When it comes in this fast the jurors start deliberations with show of hands for guilty and all go up. Never a good sign for the defense. This liar, thief and con man will be right where he belongs.

Very interesting that up until Initial stages of Jury Deliberation, 2 Jurors believed After (all evidence admitted) that Alec Was INNOCENT of these Charges. A 3rd Jury believed he would be innocent but not entirely sure. Other Jurors fought hard & bulldozer them into agreeing to vote guilty on the baes of the Police Cam which shows shells used in Murder. Resemblance to shells in one of guns Alec might own-- DOESN'T mean he is the only one in SC who owns that type of gun or that he used it for Murders.They didn't find that exact type gun in his home but it still didn't matter- he owned guns - so guilty! I think the 2 or 3 who very much wanted to vote NOT GUILTY " didn't want to face wrath from MEDIA MOB who wanted Alec DOOMED--- those Jurors could've voted guilty for their own safety reasons!!

He really didn’t have anything to lose by continuing to lie at that point.

@@vivianaguzman446 Nobody had life insurance but Alex himself. (Annnd the money he kept from the deceased housekeepers policy. I think it was the policy on her. The housekeepers family didn't see a dime.) Honestly the lawsuit for Paul and the multiple properties in Maggie's name is what I think Alex really wanted. Now a 40 million dollar suit is over, that fast. If Alex were free like he thought he was going to be, Alex would've gotten all Maggie's properties and estate. (but now that's for buster I'd assume.)

If he paid a hit man to fake his own suicide my bet is he will take his own life in jail.

Buster will be indicted for the 2015 murder of Stephen Smith within 6 months. They reopened that murder investigation last year because they found new evidence in the process of investigating Alex for Paul and Maggie’s murders. Buster will be in prison by this time next year.

Yea that’s such a rough start for a kid. Hopefully he’s got people around him to make sure he’s okay

lol there is VERY LITTLE doubt. The man is an obvious sociopath, and it’s proved was at the crime scene minutes before the murders which he lied about. Then , even though he allegedly touched the bodies , he had no blood on his clothing or hands. Which means he washed up. Quite odd if you just found your family murdered

Almost impossible for an appeal to work against a guilty verdict from a jury of 12. Appeal, sure, his right, but it wont go anywhere.

Appeals are a dime a dozen, and more of a formality these days....his fate is pretty much sealed- he's guilty in a court of law as well as in the public perception- he's an evil man.

They would have to get really lucky even though I believe the state did horrible things and it deserves to be appealed it won't happen unless they find that all the mistakes in combination of each other made it impossible for the jury to come to the right answer

Yes, Alex will appeal for a care package with a lifetime supply of KY Jelly as he's going to assume the roll of being a Wife for another inmate.

@In The Kitchen it doesn't matter. This trial was about one man. The prosecution could only say who probably did it, not who did it without reasonable doubt. The sad reality is that it's highly likely a cold-blooded killer will no longer be pursued by authorities.
