The very first WWE Smackdown vs. Raw. I remember that feeling I had when I got the game in middle school. This was obviously one of the best songs in the game.
@@memelord7643But how? SmackDown Here Comes The Pain was all BGM. None of the songs even had lyrics or anything, it was generic background music besides “I Want It All”
My ChildHood was filled with Breaking Benjamin, Rise against, Muse, Chevelle, Tool, And a few others. Nice to come back to this, still great music today.
@@walterhervas8064 No, it's because they were better and played better. They actually took skill to play unlike the ones today that are too easy. The old games actually had more game modes too.
Man WWE Day of Reckoning was a fantastic game with a killer soundtrack! Like I know this was also on Smackdown vs RAW as well but DoR is where I heard it and it just brings me back to a simpler time!
This song just brings me back to 04 when I played WWE Smackdown vs RAW on PS2. Now WWE games don't even have a actual soundtrack just wrestlers themes which gets boring after hearing them over and over
wwe games have soundtracks but those are only played in the menu. a shame they cant be used as theme songs. really lame how they only sampled super stars themesongs.
@@N1telurk3r update: 4 years later they brought that feature back for 2k22 although there are only 2 SvR type songs, one by Bring Me the Horizon and one by Asking Alexandria the rest is machine gun kelley
One of my fav songs of all time. Gets heart beating fast I use it as motivation. For bike rides and gym. Also sometimes when I'm depressed. You don't know how much some of these songs helped me or others? Thank you.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😎✌️
when i was a kid and this song was on that game and i remember recording it on a cassette to play while i painted my neighbors house for money in the summer. extremely nostalgic to me
+Phil Mante helll yeah think they had this in smackdown vs raw too but first heard it from day of reckoning awesome game especially doing the finishers.
Everything from the vocals to the music, soooo well written, so many memories, and yes the good out shine the bad, how it should be, use the song for strength 🙌🙏✌
@@gabrielmikhail7525 Maybe he means it brings him back to that familiar alternative rock sound that was prevalent throughout the late 90s & early 2000s.
@@astrozombie2816 Yup this is my favorite wrestling game of all time. I was bummed out because i lost my copy years ago . But i just recently found it again . At a mom and pop game store in Manhattan. A legit tear came down my face not to mention I paid only $20 bucks for it
I remember like in June I thought about this song while in was laying in my hospital bed. I survived an ak47 shot through the stomach. I couldn't even talk clear at the time but i screamed and I'll die to win cause born to lose with a year rolling down my cheek with a smile on my face.
You my friend You're a lot like them But I cut your line And you know I did Now I'm lost in you Like I always do And I'd die to win 'Cause I'm born to lose Firefly, could you shine your light Now I know your ways 'Cause they're just like mine Now I'm justified As I fall in line And it's hard to try When you're open wide Take my hand We'll be off and then We'll come back again To a different land Now I like this way You can go away If you guess the name You cannot replace Firefly, could you shine your light Now I know your ways 'Cause they're just like mine Now I'm justified As I fall in line And it's hard to try When you're open wide Bring me your enemies Lay them before me And walk away, walk away, walk away Firefly, could you shine your light Now I know your ways 'Cause they're just like mine Now I'm justified As I fall in line And it's hard to try When you're open wide Fuck you firefly Have you lost your light Now I hate your ways 'Cause they're just like mine So you've lost my friend Such a sorry end And I don't know why So I choke and smile (smile)
would turn on the ps2 just to listen to the sound tracks of the old pro evo soccer and the wrestling games. haha, when i was younger I would always miss the names of the tracks but leave them playing to hear my favourite tunes in the games.
I KNEW IT WAS FROM WM21 I kept seeing people say sd vs raw but I've only played wm21 and I loved that game. For some reason wwe fans seem to dislike the game
My favorite line: "Bring me your enemies. Lay them before me and walk away." Reminds me of something out of One Piece or something, lol. Plus, I'd love a friend who cared enough for me to say something like that. ^^
I love all of his songs... and I have different favorites which change throughout my mood, and this one has been my obsession for the past couple weeks :)
Shoutout to my boi Ezio and all the amazing times had with that game. I feel like that game had a certain magic to it that the later games lost, and that is truly a pity.
