They have also been using the charge of “drug delivery resulting in death “ (with a penalty of 20-40 years) against addicts who shared drugs if one of them dies. Don’t even have to actually sell drugs, just share. They said of course it’d be used against traffickers but since those people are paid millions and given protection by the DEA they of course go after the easiest person. Of course that increases the likelihood of death because if they call 911 then they are basically going away for the equivalent of second degree murder. These idiots would rather innocent people go to prison then to look “soft on crime” in a single case.. unless you are a big donor or cop that is.

It's all; heard it from a friend who, heard from a friend who, heard it from another that the lab results on the officers were negative. Beyond the lab results, God only knows why the charges were dismissed. If the officers are such liars, then why in Hell would the Feds take up a case on him? Lets charge the man federally for the dope and then bring in the 2 lying officers to testify. Jeez. If that's the case then the suspect is obviously a Republican and the officers are both Democrat. One final thought; defense attorneys are the biggest liars that I've encountered in this lifetime. Listen to the nonsense that they spout off while cross examining a witness. They most often times know that their client committed the offense that they're charged with but they go about putting on a lie fest in front of a jury, pointing their boogered index fingers at witnesses, while calling the witness a nose picker.

Chemist here. You can absolutely throw fentanyl powder into the air such that a lethal dose can be inhaled in a single breath. If the particles are small enough (think baby powder fine) and the mixture is pure enough, this is entirely viable. That said, no dealer walks around with bags of 100% pure fentanyl powder. It's not capable of being used recreationally in that form, and is generally handled while wearing HazMat suits. This particular story is obviously BS given the facts, but because it isn't possible. It hides in a sea of cops who will lie about anything but the mentally ill cops really do believe they see things that weren't there. Or believe they overdosed when they clearly didn't. They shoot people with no weapon or think they saw a furtive movement when they really didn't. Even their own video won't convince them otherwise. Holding them accountable MEANS defunding them. America spent $118 billion on cops in 2020....that's more than France and Germany spend on their militaries COMBINED. It's more than Russia spends on its military WHILE FIGHTING A WAR IN UKRAINE. Go look at the salaries of LAPD cops, it's public record....there's no shortage of low ranking officers making $350K+ per year.... NO COP in America should be making more than a doctor regardless of where they are a cop, and don't tell me it's because it's dangerous because apparently being a cop is only three 22nd most dangerous job in America and thr majority of those more dangerous jobs male far less than cops. What's worse is that we literally have 50 years of research that shows BEYOND ANY DOUBT, that increasin police and police budgets does absolutely nothing to effect crime rates....but that same research does show what DOES lower crime and that's lowering poverty and increasing education, so it's quite ridiculous that America spent more on cops than the federal government spends on education. Of course, if we add in the cost of prisons (don't forget, America has the largest prison population in the world largely thanks to drug prohibition), courts and all the incidentals, it approaches $500 billion every year (America on average spends more per prisoner than it does per student)....oh, and did I mention we spend well more than all of our western democratic neighbors while having worse results and more crime? Funny....all those other western democracies have robust welfare systems, safe guards against poverty and universal healthcare, but fewer cops and lower crime....sounds to me like the people in Americs who claim to want to "lower crime", but then just give more money to cops don't really want to to lower crime as much as they want to punish more.

Most, if not all, cases of emergency responders reacting to fentanyl exposure have been shown to be psychosomatic responses. First responders have been told over and over that even a miniscule exposure can lead to overdose. Therefore, when they are exposed they react as if they have overdosed. A classic case of this was when a cop in California tested a tiny amount of white powder and when it showed positive for fentanyl, he fainted and fell over backwards. The amount in the bag was so miniscule that even if he snorted all of it or shot it directly into his veins he would not have gotten high let alone overdosed. That the cops and courts were willing to charge the guy in this video with attempted murder would be laughable if it weren't so scary.

They charged him, when they knew, it was from being tased. Charge both cops for falsifying their reports, and abusing the rights of the man they chose to accuse. Fire these lying, corrupted, abusers of power.

when the cops assault you and arrest you for filming the scene of the crime, you just KNOW the cops are up to something dirty, turns out they were committing conspiracy against the man they alleged tried to kill them, and they were doing their best to make it look convincing too.

Former police officer Philip Stinson, Sr., J.D., Ph.D. is a professor of criminal justice at Bowling Green State University. He was the principal investigator of a Department of Justice sponsored study on police crime across the United States and found out of more than 10,000 officer arrest cases from 2005 to 2014, 6.3% involved false reports or statements against citizens. False reports are likely under-reported, and the study did not include data from federal agents. (Police Integrity Lost: A Study of Law Enforcement Officers Arrested. National Institute of Justice. Criminal Justice Faculty Publications. NCJ Number 249850. January 2016).

@@DistrustHumanzNo. Why do you people insist on spreading ignorance around like a contagious disease? It's very much a crime for law enforcement to lie in a police report. Signed someone who has literally charged cops for it.

Every cop, police officer needs to be required to list the first 5 amendments to the bill or rights and then explain each in detail. If they cannot do so, turn in their gun and badge and work security at McDonald’s or Walmart
@just9911
@just9911 Год назад
1,2,4, and 5 for sure, but the 3rd amendment realistically has no bearing on interactions between the police and the public. There is some use of the 3rd amendment in supporting arguments about an implied right to privacy within the Constitution & BoR, but I would be hard pressed to think of how or why it would be of use or concern to law enforcement and those seeking to hold law enforcement accountable.

@hansoak3664 Год назад
@@just9911If I recall correctly, the third amendment was raised as at issue in a case some years back when law enforcement took over someone's house during a domestic violence standoff at a neighbor's house. They forced her out in spite of her objections and used her property observe and cover the standoff. After they were done forcibly quartering themselves in the woman's house, they had damaged a significant amount of her personal property.

@@hansoak3664 that actually might be the only situation where it would apply directly, though I would be really curious what the court makes of the distinction between soldiers and law enforcement. However, there is probably so little case law on that specific issue it couldn’t hurt to raise the issue of 3rd amendment violations.

@@hansoak3664 the only thing that springs to mind was something related to putting national guardsmen in housing on-premises meant for prison guards and whether or not that qualifies. @@just9911 I believe the case that I was remembering was prior to 2010. I believe it was sometime in the early 2000s and I don't now recall the outcome of it. I just know the issue was raised in that a police forcing someone out of their house and using their house for their own purposes.
