FYI, the m spec race (3") intake only gets you 1 hp. I did the mrev2 lower plenum with spacer years ago. This does does get you alot of mid range hp, just a few up top. But then I put the race intake on the dyno...only saw 1 hp after. Mind you, I already have bigger throttle body, ported and polished upper, lower plenums and runners, headers and true dual exhaust. Stock revup intake is very good.
i have a DE and my current bolt on’s right now are Z1 plenum spacer short ram intake DC sports headers berk test pipes Z1 crank pulley one step colder spark plugs lightweight flywheel invidia gemini catback exhaust i don’t have the Z1 ignition coils or a bigger throttle body but i plan on doing the 75mm throttle body and upgrading my intake to the Mspec one. my butt dyno right now says it makes about 265-270 with what i have right now
If you plan on a tune, get the m-spec race version, it's 3" through the maf section, so lets more air flow than the street version used in this video. (street just means it uses oem size pipe diameter at the maf sensor)
Dont listen to any of these goons bro your doing a good build and are getting good numbers if you want to get a bit more get the 75mm throttle body, admin injectors and fuel pump, ported manifold’s middle and lower from vqboysperformance and the upper from unknownperformance , and mabey a aftermarket MAF
I know for a fact, did a dyno run at 73% humidity In Louisiana in December 2021 on a Haltech Platinum pro plug n play, 232hp,, 241hp, then 236hp from heat soak & humidity. For how easy it is to pull on & off,, meh.
It needs an idler pulley delete, when I did an idler pulley delete on my 06 G sedan non-revup DE, I noticed a difference right away. Probably in the range of 4-6hp...
I like the z1 CAI because of where it puts the air filter but I feel like the piece that goes through in front of the radiator could do with a slight re-modelling. The way the pipe bends it sits too close to the radiator and I’m reshaping mine.
What splitter is on this car? Which Z1 M-Spec cold air intake was installed, the Race or Street version? (assuming street version due to no tune) Hoping you guys tune these cars to see the numbers before going boost. Also, is this the Rev up version of the DE?

I hate intake filters like this under the bumper. They get wet so easily and collect a ton of dirt. Just stay stock or get a shielded short ram intake. All it gives you is sound anyway.
Probably just paint it with heat transfer paint.. Polishing it can actually have a negative effect on cooling it since the dimples give it more surface area for air to transfer heat from.

Do plenum spacer work on a rev-up engine? How much hp im thinking of getting one but i heard they don't work with rev-up engine only for the none rev-up
Our plenum spacer will fit, however the gains compared to a regular DE are different, the Rev-Up has better factory porting. You'll see gains, just less gains than a stock DE :)
