Put the Z1 spacer in last year. Love it. Easy simple to install and zero issues.

I got the GKtech variant. They have fantastic products for the Z.

I went with MD mainly for the more completeness of the kid ( and also Z1 did not have their kit when I added mine). Ive also had issues with Z1s bolt hardware for certain parts not being strong enough to handle the torque needed. ( their brake line hardware comes to mind). I think either way these kits will perform as advertized and make power with (maybe without? ) a tune. Im not tuned and I for sure feel a nice push mid RPM range.

such a clean build. this would be my goal one day for my G35. My question is would you recommend running the plenum spacer or kinetixs v4 plenum intake. i recently bought the kinetixs but seeing what you would recommended. i also got conecptz 75mm throttle body to pear it to. this is going on my DE. More using the car for drag racing and hammering down on back roads.

Can't deny the physics of the Z1 Plenum giving just a bit more space up front. When it comes to aerodynamics air will flow in the direction of least resistance so for as little as these Plenums do it best to have the Z1.

Great video. Previous owner put a black 5/8 spacer on my revup, definitely not what I would have chosen. I hear 5/8 is more for top end which I don't care about. I wonder if I switch to one of these, if I'll get some mid range power.

Have you seen Independent testing on a Dyno for performance fiqures on Z1 vs Motordyne vs Stock? Just curious what performance increase if any does happen.
@gerodriguez1993
Found a motordyne plenum spacer in the junkyard and worth the $10 i spent he thought it was just a gasket lol made a difference.

hey I was having issues fitting my factory intake tube around the 75mm throttle body. do you know of any tubes that would fit the hitachi throttle body AND the jwt popcharger?(or any intakes that would fix the 75mm?) sorry i'm having trouble understanding the intake sizes. any help would be appreciated

It also makes me wonder if you can actually put out the front part of the manifold without having to deal with even putting a manifold on. That would make more sense then you don't have to deal with putting cheesy adapters for your strut Tower brace
@DubaiCalisthenics
Brother, after you installed Z1 plenum spacer, did Cusco Strut Bar fit easy? Can you please share a link for Skunk 2 hardware set!
@DyneHammer
Just curious if you've paired up the Z1 spacer with the MREV2 and wanted to hear your thoughts on it since it's been a minute. I confess I bought a Z1 kit for my 06 rev-up that I had to pull off due to the top gasket bending and not sealing correctly. I've had people tell me that the spacers don't do much for rev-up until you get the Mrev and just wasn't sure if that plus the extra spacing at the front of the Z1 spacer might be too much volume or not.

What’s the consensus on installing a spacer on the revup these days? Mine came with one and I am running lean, so I’m not so sure it’s optimal for the revup.

What strut brace is on the car after you added the Z1 plenum spacer? And did you use washers with it?

Curious as to which strut bar you're using. I also added thermal gaskets with my intake. Stock strut bar makes contact.

Any Dyno results using nothing with just a base tune ?
@mikewaite3746
I don't understand why it would be necessary to go from the Putnam space where you had to the Z1 you already had it it seems like just dropping money down the bucket
@SlowDe
Dyno numbers between the two?
