Warren showing me the basics of Summer Breeze. Origianlly performed by Seals and Croft and covered by The Isley Bros. Great classic jam by both groups.

Who is this guy, other than just Warren, I mean? His chords sounded spot on and have helped us enormously in getting this song in to our set list (although there were still a few I had to work out). He's a fine singer too.
this man killed it. my first time seeing this video and he makes it seem easy as pie with his skills. I'm a bassist and would like to hear someone do a lesson video of the Isley Brothers version of the bass
Marvin, yes, thanks for the correction. Had a close friend named Melvin and his name always comes to mind ... even though I had an Uncle Marvin (but nicknamed Mert).
@@ASSman864 I was a kid hitting ronald notes, i told my dad listen to me sing like ronald isley... His exact words were: no one sings like ronald isley.. LOL
damn! it's christmas in october! i've always loved this song. wow and i'm the first view. i was just looking at the isleys in concert 1997 and this popped up!

@bloodruncoldxxx they put too much emphasis on the programming, imagery. We dont care about looks we only care about the energy and for those about to ROCK we salute you... I salute this bro. he is GREAT.
reminds me of my ol school Homey that used to play these same hits...and make it look so easy...he's killing the shit!! Get it Warren!! I can listen to this brotha all day...

Don't give up and it is so worth it but you gonna earn it. I am in the same boat as you only had my guitar a few months and I have seen progress. There is a tremendous amount of free stuff, that's is good. If you or anyone else want a list of links/resources that are helpful. Here's my email: Taste_Nina@yahoo.com. Please no jokes about the user name and the list is free. I've went thru the process of sorting among the many links and chose quite a few. I am not saying that I went thru everything and this list the best but it is quite good as I've been told. This is an aide to assist anyone on the journey to "Guitardom." All can benefit from the list but this is aimed at those who can't take formal lessons now. However, I would recommend lessons in the early stages of learning a.s.a.p. in order to start from a good foundation and build from that. Learn correctly at the start before bad/incorrect habits can form. Use the list as a study aid and take lessons accordingly
it's nit your fault you can't okay it, its fenders fault. squire's are built like crap they may resemble a fender strat but plays nothing like it. I bet your nut is so high that you can't drop your strings to have a decent set up and your intonation is so far off it almost makes you wanna quit playing? about right? It's worth saving the 400 for even for a Mex Fender Strat at least you can work on and upgrade the quality. but they're pretty decent with no upgrades just a decent guitar set up.
