Marvel Studios and Disney have just updating the Marvel Studios phase 5 and phase 6 release dates for the MCU Multiverse Saga! It appears that there might be an Avengers Secret Wars part 1 and 2, with a secret movie in between the two Avengers films, possibly being an Avengers vs X-Men film! Marvel phase 6 movies are expected to be Spider-Man 4, Doctor Strange 3, Shang Chi 2, a possible Scarlet Witch solo film and even more! What does Marvel Studios have planned for some of these secret MCU films?

Secret Wars NEEDS to be 2 parts. There are so much characters and story and a 2.5-3hr movie wont be enough time to do it justice.

I agree that is a very good move because the sheer scale of Secret Wars' story wouldn't be able to fit into one or two movies, there definitely three movies all together that need to happen for everything to fit in nicely, so that is a great decision.

What if blade dies in this next one like black Panther & has a son and ali’s blade is his son or something and honor and pass off the torch boom there u go & introduce snipes blade as a blade who now has travled, slayed vampires discovered theres more monsters ( man-thing, and mephisto ,other supernatural beings) he slayed over time & bring in the darkhold & the ebony blade , add dr strange reference to connect, use magic to travel dimensions to connect to the multiverse, have a supernatural vilian that blade fights use him as a sacrifice to win against said villian , a villian that also is connected to the mcu to bring in midnight suns . And have Ali’s blade pick up with recruiting the midnight suns after hearing about or reading in blades war diary the names of the most power supernatural beings to recruit against the multiverse war ..also have blade have a vision of random shots foreshadowing secret wars or what’s coming . Thst way u have both actors in a movie and u hand off , close & open a new chapter to a legendary franchise

If we had to sacrifice some films, I would suggest the avengers vs x-men film and maybe the scarlet witch solo silm. I badly want Avengers: Secret Wars to be split into two parts and also have Thor 5, Spider-Man 4, Shang Chi 2 and Doctor Strange 3.

I think it would be very smart for Secret Wars to be split into two... because compared to what we got with the previous Avengers films... we had 2 film before Infinity War to establish the core members of the team... so the thought of suddenly having another avengers film followed by the big finale always felt a little rushed to me, but now if Avengers Doomsday is a little more a kin to something like Avengers Age of Ultron but maybe a bit of a larger scale then the two massive mulitverse movies i think that would flow a lot better.

@@supersentaii5590 Unless it's coming out in 2025, there is almost no room to release Spiderman 4 before Avengers 5, coming out in May 2026. That's only 4 months of 2026 to release before Avengers, and realistically it won't come out in April, and maybe not March, of 2026. and I highly doubt it's coming next year either. I'm betting money it's coming out right after Doomsday.

Doctor Strange 3 is a project I’d like to see before the events of Doomsday. Last we saw him he was running into the Dark Dimension with Clea because he caused an incursion. I wonder if Strange’s absence lasts a couple years because of this that by the time he comes back almost everything transpiring in his universe is wrong.

That's pretty reassuring, knowing there are more films in the pipeline, I was worried they were rushing into secret wars with many loose ends still unresolved, ideally we'd get Spiderman 4, Shang Chi 2, Dr. Strange 3, World War Hulk, Armor Wars, Eternals 2 and Thor 5, though some of those could end up as epilogue films after Secret Wars part 2 I guess.

@@dannyschoe4874 You’re more than likely right. I just feel they have 4 movies maybe 5 to show the reveal and build up of Doom. It took many many movies to show all the layers of the Avengers leading up to the reveals we got of Thanos. Phase 4 and 5 have never even hinted at Doom nor show any team being built.

Remember, between 2016 and 2018 Marvel released Civil War, Doctor Strange, SpiderMan, Guardians 2, Black Panther and Ragnarok. Before Secret Wars, AFAIK, they're not introducing any new characters except the Fantastic 4 and the Sentry. Thunderbolts have all been introduced in previous movies/shows, Falcon America (that's what I call him), Thor, Ant Man, Strange, SpiderMan, Shang Chi, Scarlet Witch, even Captain Marvel (she's bland but part of the team) are all established characters. If Photon (Monica Rambeau) will play a role she's been introduced already too. This is why IMO they might need to scrap Blade until the reboot...I dont think there's room for an origin story and unlike Strange being the last introduction before Infinity War, idk that Blade will play that big of a role in Doomsday or Secret Wars.

I agree....Scarlet Witch will definitely need to come back, in a movie before Secret Wars and then in Secret Wars, but a solo movie for her redemption arc wouldn't be needed. And the Black Panther character arc died with T'Challa....I like Shuri but I don't think she'll grow on me the same way

The biggest of Marvel movies will always screen during the summertime. The ones that fall outside of the summertime, will be movies that add characters/narrative to the overall big movies. Think volleyball, set(off season) and spike(summertime).

I think that Doctor Strange 3 & the Scarlet Witch solo film are the most likely to happen, since they both revolve around characters introduced in the Infinity Saga. It would also make sense that Secret Wars would be a two part film, since there will be a lot of characters and its a pivotal MCU moment!

I still really want Marvel to finish their storyline with Kang & his variants! They built them up in such a very big & interesting way! And we still don't know what was Kang's goal & what was this big plan the Council of Kangs were going to do! Kang is also a threat to them & I think we were meant to get more of a backstory on that & I really wanted to see what was meant to happen next with them!

its actually possible since the initial release dates were six months apart and we also had two movies announced that maybe Doomsday and Secret Wars are already a two part story but they skipped the retitling phase.Especially considering the last time they announced two new Avenger films it was a two part. I don't see why the release dates wouldve been so close (and even now in terms of sequels its rlly close) if they didnt view it as such.

I think Marvel are being careful not to overload us and take their times with the movies now. The Phase Six full slate will most likely be next comic con ones Thunderbolts has wrapped up or is about to wrap up Phase 5 (similar to how they fleshed out the Phase 5 slate and a bit of phase 6 when phase 4 was coming to an end)

I really don't think they'd make Doomsday, 2 Secret Wars and then make an Avengers vs X-Men in between too. I think it's gonna be a solo movie between both the Secret Wars parts instead of the Avengers vs X-Men. Also what the hell happened to Armor Wars and Blade?????? 💀💀💀💀💀💀

They already said that RDJ is Victor Von Doom, so it’s not going to be a Tony variant. They most likely chose to do this so that this variant of DD looks like our variant of Iron Man, causing lots of personal and mental issues for spidey and the avengers (if they even show his face). We will probably end up get a different actor playing Doom after reboot. Plus RDJ started to MCU and he’s now going to finish this variation of the MCU.

I think you're forgetting that there were TWO movies released in the MCU between Infinity War and Endagame (Antman2 and Capt. Marvel). The latter was released just a month or two before Endgame. They could easily put another earthbound movie in between Secret Wars 1 and 2. Maybe one that even effects the story of part 2. (Like Antman 2 led into Endgame) In fact, if Secret Wars 1 is successful and ends on a cliffhanger, it would make perfect sense to pigeonhole a different movie into the gap to capatalize on the hype, ala Capt. Marvel.

Secret Wars part two might be called Avengers:Battleworld, and I wish that all the MCU projects between Secret Wars part 1 and 2 take place on Battleworld... can't describe with words how big this whole storyline is and can't wrap my mind on how it will look like. But in MCU we trust

Shang Chi 2 before Doomsday, DS 3 after Scarlet witch in phase 7 Also Avengers Vs X Men is a mutant saga thing I assume I feel like that might be the big finale to either the mutant saga or just phase 7 Since I hope they realise dropping the avengers/big team up films at the end of phases was really a big mistake. Like to me that was one of the biggest blunders ever, I understand WHY they did it But like.. 2 phases with no avengers? Not even a YOUNG AVENGERS?? Out of your mind marvel!! Out of your mind!

We def need Doctor Strange 3, Avengers vs xmen, no questions asked, Scarlet Witch honestly depends on IF they decide to keep the character dead. Honestly as much as I loved the first Shang Chi movie, I personally feel like it doesn't really add that much to the overall story as it feels more tied to an Avengers movie, not a Shang Chi movie so that would have to go.

Honestly they could do Defenders - Dr Strange, Hulk, Silver Surfer, Namor and Valkyrie have all already debuted or will have by the time we reach the unknown films- I know the name has been used before but that was on TV a few years back now and for 1 season so it's not really an issue. I suspect the Scarlet Witch film might end up being a Champions/New Warriors/Young Avengers film with Vision and her kids setting up the next phase which would make sense as the last film on this slate.

i think Doomsday is meant as the first chapter of the Secret Wars story, aka it's Secret Wars Part 1...and Secret Wars serves as its conclusion, Secret Wars Part 2.

I’ve been saying for awhile that they should scrap the Blade solo movie for now and introduce him in a different way and then do the solo movie in the future after Blade has already been introduced because that movie seems cursed right now and I appreciate them taking the time to get it right but clearly the ideas aren’t flowing right now so sometimes it’s best to take a break and revisit it in the future

3 Avengers movies? Man, I'm down. How do they spread it out of the story into 3 movies? I'm not sure if Doom is the solo villain. If there's another villan like the beyonder or kang, then I could see that. I could see in doomsday having them fight Dr. Doom. It ends with them losing, in secret wars part 1, the multiverse begans to get destroyed, the x-men & the avengers are left on battleworld, they fight each other. The movie ends with both teams realizing they are not the enemy, and will work together to take down the villan and restore the universe. Secret wars part 2 is where they win, we get a whole new universe with all the avengers including a new Thor, captain America, iron man, black widow. With the fantastic 4, with the new x-men and any other heros. Favorite Hero: Batman

Based on MCU history, it’s unlikely secret wars is a 2 part thing only 6 months apart. Marvel has never done that and it’s highly contradicting to advertising methods they have used over the last 16 years. Dooms Day will be the “Infinity War” Secret Wars will be the “Endgame” Both films will have 1-2 films between them and after them just like phase 2 and 3.

I think that the one that could be between secret wars pt 1&2 could be civil War 2 so it would technically be a 3 pt secret wars story a fluid continuation from SW:PT1-CW2-SW:PT2 they’d have all the characters to do a Civil War 2 it’d probably be the only way they could do it seamlessly without having to create an entire other reason to do it I think it’s a perfect fit.

I am so happy that Marvel is actually thinking here with Secret Wars, and making it two parts. It’s such a big story, especially in the comics, and it really has to be done right. Therefore, I really love that it won’t be rushed. It can’t be rushed. Now as for which movie should be removed, honestly, I really don’t know…I mean we do need pretty much all of them….especially AvX bcz in the comics of secret wars, there are x-men present, along with Doom, so we definitely need some sort of introduction for both of those, (Doomsday and AvX), we also need Spider-Man, and Dr. Strange fits in as well, considering where it left off, as for Scarlett Witch, it would just confirm (hopefully) to all of us, that’s she’s alive, and as for Shang-chi, it also has to be done, bcz I think that Marvel wants to include him as an avenger going forward?

Marvel Studios The Multiverse Saga September 18, 2024: Agatha All Along Season 1 November 2, 2024: Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 1 February 14, 2025: Captain America Brave New World March 2025: Daredevil Born Again Season 1 July 25, 2025: The Fantastic Four First Steps February 13, 2026: Blade May 1, 2026: Avengers Doomsday July 24, 2026: November 6, 2026: Armor Wars May 7, 2027: Avengers Secret Wars I doesn't make any sense that there is another Avengers film, otherwise they would have announced that at San Diego Comic Con Hall H panel last week on Saturday. Also why does everyone forget about Armor Wars? next year at San Diego Comic Con Hall H panel, Sony Pictures & Marvel Studios will announce Spider-Man 4 and that is why I placed it on July 24, 2026. If this rumor is true, then I would take Spider-Man 4 out, and place Doctor Strange Time Runs Out on July 23, 2027 & I would place Avengers Secret Wars Pat II on November 5, 2027
