I love the 5 say Cleveland forecast shirt. spot on. I think the passes were getting confusing and they are just trying to simplify the process. Why have a summer pass when you still have the gold pass and you can just add the passport option and upgrade it.

I am really not liking the direction of these pass changes. I was confused about the prestige last season and just kept renewing my platinum with all the add ons i normally get with renewal. Now we’re forced to move to a gold and do a number of add ons or prestige and pay more with any add ons that they offer. I checked into the renewal from a platinum pass on Kings Island where I purchased my platinum pass originally, it was like 475 as a renewal for 2023 so I’m not sure why it shows 375 on the site for the prestige for this season but when you renew off a platinum for 2023 it jumped to 475 and that wasn’t with any add ons. That alone really concerns me for 2024 renewal. They went up on renewal last year for platinum with the add ons i normally get ea year. Guess I’ll find out in a few weeks. I’m not a fan of them retiring the platinum of all the combinations passes they’ve been offering and wonder why they selected that one of all the ones that were offered, just seems like they’re forcing anyone with passes that want to renew into this new pricing model they’re rolling out. Maybe last year they didn’t get a lot of people upgrading to prestige from platinum so they retire platinum ahead of renewal time for 2024. Disappointing and a very unpopular company wide change.

Good to know...thanks. I'm glad I still can get a pass that covers all the parks. It enjoyable to roadtrip to different places. For the prestige pass (it will be the first time it is available at our home park) was it worth it? I don't think I'd go sit in a VIP lounge. Anyone use it?

Prestige pass was a bust. Hardly anyone bought them. The VIP loungers are empty, the exclusive entrance person scanner person sits their twiddling their thumbs. So instead of admiitting the disaster the prestige pass was they foolishly get rid of an intuitive system of platinum all parks, gold home park to the asinine structure of buying a gold with an add on. Also, universal pricing is done as gold pass vary & the add on for all park access will have park variable pricing.

Thanks for sharing. Not sure how I feel about this either. Something tells me they are going to raise the price of the Gold pass to make it cost the same as the platinum pass once you add the all park add on. This seem like a way to get more revenue from the gold pass, which is the most popular. Not mad about it because the Gold pass is a somewhat under priced. Sliver will become the new gold.

I think you guys somehow stumbled on a leak. I can't pull this up from the website directly (even get a 404 error if i click on the link provide when I enter "All Park Passport" in the search bar). So thanks for the link. It doesn't really make sense for this to be up until they are actually offering the 2024 passes though, right? The key is what will the benefits looks like for the gold pass in 2024, because you're right if you bought a 2022 Platinum Pass in August of 2021 (when they first went on sale) you paid $180 and got 20% off food and merch. in August of 2022 ( when the passes first went on sale for 2023 the Platinum was not discounted at all (or so I thought) and the benefits such as 20% off food and merch were transferred over to the Prestige Pass and the Platinums Pass benefits were dropped down to 10% off along with the Gold Pass. The whole pass situation reminds me of the shell game they play on FunTV in the queues with the ball being the benefits and the shells being the different passes and the empty shells being all the consumers whole buy a particular pass thinking their getting a certain benefit only to learn that benefit has moved over one shell!

IDK why anyone would get Prestige, while those benefits are nice they are NOT worth the massive price increase over gold

As much as I hate to even mention it, but I could absolutely see old "Nickel and Dime Fair" getting rid of all season chainwide FL, and making that add-on available only at the park the Gold is based at for the same price. They know there is absolutely no way someone who is used to having FL at KI is going to go to CP and not have it, so they will buy the single day FL+. I wouldnt have even said it, but we know good and well they have already thought of it so I may as well put it out there.

All I want is for #CF to allow you the perks at all the parks with the top pass cause it was pure BS and aggravating this year park to park pass to pass...there was no consistency.

one thing that is interesting is you can get the gold pass to your home park, and add on the all park passport at a later time. For people like me I never know how many parks and which ones I am doing at the beginning of the year (or next year if you get the pass early). Keeps you from having to over buy, and doesn't penalize you from acting early. Now they may already allow you to upgrade from gold to platinum, but I never looked into it I always just gambled on that I will get the value out of the platinum pass.

They had some many passes to get people into the park/s during and after covid.

I don't mean to be negative but do you know what I'm really sick of? Everyone and I mean EVERYONE is trying to squeeze another buck out of you. Any way possible to make a customer pay more.
