A company getting rid of 500 fulltime positions and hiring for 1000 part time time position with 20 hours a week or less per person is NOT creating jobs. The company still pays $20,000 per week however the company is banking on not paying benefits and the employees must work 3 or more jobs per week to make ends meet. This is where a lot of numbers get fudged.

Technically you’re both right. If you have 3 years of 9% inflation, you’d be up ~30% from year 0 to year 3. Inflation is how much it went up just this year. We need some damn deflation to get these prices down.

Told ya !! I was completely truthful when I stated I was let go from my job for no reason without cause after only 2 1/2 months. AND I spent my entire savings moving to a new state for that job!!! I'm drowning and getting no assistance. Hopefully getting new employment soon, but it's been hell !! Those reports don't include those people denied for unemployment insurance too. They are full of BS over past year and I thought we were in recession.

We have national chains going bankrupt left and right. Thousands of employees being laid off weekly as companies scramble to decrease operating expenses. "Retail sales are strong!" - yeah but so is credit use and DELINQUENCIES!! (All time highs!) The end consumer has given up. They clearly DGAF anymore. Almost no interviews, jobs I'm looking at with 25%-40% lower salaries, hundreds of applicants per job, much higher qualifications and certifications required. 30 years experience, BS degree, current industry certifications. Unemployment ran out last month. Strong and resilient? Yeah right.

Bringing back jobs that were lost due to government lockdowns is not creating jobs. The workforce participation rate is much more telling than the unemployment rate. The workforce participation for young men is abysmal and is the worst it’s been in decades. I’m tired of the manipulation all the way around. Inflation is no different. Groceries and gas aren’t included in inflationary numbers and those two things weigh the heaviest in daily living.

So people working now work 2 jobs to be able to pay off food,(which has increased in price by 30% this year), rent (gawdddd help us, gas and utilities bill. That’s 100k jobs over estimated per month. If you consider the net job growth is between 200-300k per month you have a between 33-50% inaccuracy. What’s the point of these reports if you are so off on what you are reporting?

Unfortunately, American elections are just as rigged as the economic data. The 2020 election was stolen right in front of everyone's eyes. The Democrats will do it again if they are allowed to get away with it. Hence why they aren't worried about how this data will affect potential votes. They'll have fraudulent votes lines up.

The Fed doesnt care about jobs numbers. It cares about prices and inflation. The problem is the wealthy have so many assets now, compared to the plebs, that in order to address the inflation concerns we need a deep recession that will really put the screws to the uber wealthy if they want to address inflation. And as households have not been spending this last year, its been businesses that have been. Businesses that are owned as assets by the investor class. If you want stable prices and inflation curbed the Fed MUST keep rates where they are if not raise them more. President Obama was correct when he said "Elections have consequences." The American public has chosen the way of pain. We will need to endure a bit longer. Of course no one wants to take the bitter medicine.

Who are all these people getting jobs? I’ve been applying for 2 1/2 years with my “overqualified” resume and due to all the rejections ended up having to start my own business because it was easier for me to go into consulting, teaching, speaking, and writing on my expertise to pay at least some of my expenses. Now I teach people how to build their own business including multiple passive income streams. Thankfully my client base keeps growing, but then that means more people are starting their own self sustaining business and not included in any of these reports. So how is it possible?

This is absolutely ridiculous! Our economy is so destroyed! I can sell any of my clients roofs because nobody has money. I literally was making sells at 600-700 per square of a roof …. I am down at 300-400 a square now because nobody is willing to spend the money for a new roof…. This shit has got SO BAD….literally the only thing I am holding on to with hope is my bitcoin and crypto having a future…. Everything else looks like it’s going to fucking shrivel up and die!
