In BC we are not aloud tint on the front windows of our vehicles……I put the lightest tint on my ram and my wife’s yukon. Makes the vehicle look so much better and reduces the heat.

The messed up thing in BC where I live have to have front license plate on vehicles, no front window tint aloud, exhaust can’t be a certain decibel. Province over in Alberta complete opposite but not sure about loud exhaust!

Insane Ticket #3. Why? It was a money collection stop. You may have been exceeding the posted speed limit, but holy crap, like no traffic, nice day, you were being safe/prudent. To me, speeding + being unsafe (including road conditions) should be a fine/ticket. Drive down to Oklahoma or Texas sometime...85 mph and you'll get run over/passed.

Where I live it's not allowed to ticket 2 vehicles with same radar result. I run a Escort Max 360 and any chirp on KA band and I do speed limit. Doesn't help for those situation where I'm the only one on the road but I take that into consideration and do what my pocket can afford. Torch Red Corvette Z06 so in front of law enforcement I need to be straight!

They also offer drive defensive course and once you complete it and no traffic violations (speeding) within 90 days. They'll drop the violation off the driving record that includes driving merits. That's in TX.

I just received a camera speeding ticket in the mail doing 26mph in a 20mph zone. I thought the camera ticket video was playing in slow motion. I didn't know what I did wrong right away until I read the small print. So watch out people I'm a speeding lawless criminal.

Sucks to get tickets. Its luck or i should say bad luck. I speed all the time, i am a safe driver, no accidents in 20+ years. The police are paid for by SGI insurance, they have fishing holes where EVERYOBE speeds like your second ticket, no pedestrians, no cross walks, no intersections. Lots of places like that in Regina n Saskatoon. Places where no accidents happen. Plea not guilty. Hope the ticket geys miss places or officer does not show. I assume the tint cop measured your window tint?. Winter is coming. Too cold for cops on bikes.

Is tint completely illegal in Canada? In the U.S. tint is legal in each state. There are however restrictions on the percentage of tint which varies from state to state. 50% would be legal anywhere. Where I live the rear windows can be 20%, and the front can be 35%.

Like the US. Varies by Province and some allow a certain amount. It can also be loosely enforced or strictly enforced by municipalities, etc. One thing I know for sure, they seem to leave me alone in the winter. Must be too cold to want to pull people over for tint

you can get tint here in us that has a slight fade from the legal to dark that starts on top edge of glass so when light meter used to test tint by law will show legal they sometimes dont like it cause they know its a work around but usully cop will have dark also!! but looks like you need move from your crappy country and there all way more crappy things canada does worse to everyone than driving infractions!!

@@Donslife definitely, most of the time around here the lawyer fee is under $200 and it keeps it off your insurance. Still have to pay the ticket fees, but probably better for driving record and insurance in the long run.

Sorry your got 3 tickets very fast!. I'm a police officer in the states and I can give you my point of view not knowing all the circumstances of your violations. Fist, the window tint. I as a police officer hate walking up to a dark tinted window because your cant see inside the vehicle. That posses the biggest risk during any traffic stop so if you elect to keep the window tint because it looks good (which I agree) that's the reason for that ticket. Think about what the officer has to do during evening hours and walking up to a dark tinted window and not being able to see inside. IF your still elect to keep the window tint make sure you roll down your window before the officer approaches. That might change that ticket into a warning. As far a the speeding ticket, well it depends on several factors. How fast you were going over the speed limit and how many speeding tickets you had in the past. One other piece of advice, when you get pulled over by a motor unit just assume your getting the ticket. All they do is traffic enforcement. They are strictly there to enforce the traffic laws to lower accidents. Hope this helps and good luck on the fines getting reduced!

I agree i have 10% tinted window's On all 3 of my vehicles. But i have a VA prescription. I have been pull over 4 times for it. The 1st thing i do. Before they even get out of their car. I lower all my windows, and open the sunroof. And keep both hands on top of the steering wheel. Three times they where local cop's. Once they saw my VA letter. They the thanked me for service. And thanked me for making it easy. Too see in the Vehicle. The one time was by a Mn. State trooper. Who was a Total Jerk Off. And i turned his red neck A$$. Into the Mn state Patrol Internal Affairs. His Captain saw the the video. And called me, and Apologized. For his troopers very bad behavior. Of threating me. The Captain was very nice and very professional.
