Using a new Beak skid steer attachment to break up a concrete patio and move the pieces. Then dig out a tree stump. Attachment available here: www.danielmfg.com/the-beak/
For that concrete patio, wow, talk about the right tool for the job!! Love that someone had the sense to put an eyeball on that grapple, just a small thing, but I bet it makes lots of smiles. Cheers from Tokyo! Stu
Who else thought Andrew was going to crush that pallet instantly? I like how he delicately set it on the other pallets, then took a nibble out of it for good measure.
who needs a backhoe when you got a beak attachment 😁 seems like a nifty little attachment to have thx for the new vid andrew, always enjoy them and good to see levi and cody on the case too!
Agreed, I love how he is totally busting the myth that only channels with 10 minutes videos are successful. Clearly their is a demand for long format stuff like this. I much prefer it.
It is just amazing how many different types of jobs Andrew gets into. He will get some type of equipment onsite and just go at it no matter what it is.
Junior Lab inspector Cody is nothing but a consummate professional. Cody: I have decided this patio needs to be demolished. I have put my mark on it. Now do your thing, Andrew.
So great to watch these videos over again . I saw them when you first posted them , but worth watching again. Your a master in what you do Andrew. Hope to see more then you posted this past year.
Andrew how about a post where you take us through the entire tool and attachment arsenal including prices and how you paid for them (money from a big job, RU-vid money, sponsors, etc?)
yeah. whoever worked on pouring those slabs must have forgotten what the hook on a rake/puller is good for... *pulling* the mesh back off the ground and into the concrete after you've walked all over it
I’m a 74 year old great-Grammy and I’ve been watching Andrews’ videos back-to-back for 4 days (just found his site) ....BEST VIDEOS EVER!!!! I want a skid steer in the worst way! Andrew, you are a pure genius at what you do...Thank you for all the great videos and especially sharing Levi, Lacey, Sadie, and Cody with all of us.
If this was a job I got, there would end up being #5 rebar on 6” centers and 24” thick 4 foot deep footers hidden behind the block wall. It’s always nice when it comes out this easy.
I couldn't tell you why I find Andrew's videos so fascinating but I finally figured out why I watched this video that is almost 30 minutes long. Primarily because I couldn't find a new one that was an hour long!
Dear A.C. 👍👌👏 Very well done! This new attachment = the Triceratops jaws, are great. 😁 Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and health to all of you.
I thought you didn’t like bobcats because in one of your videos you said they were junk. You are a very intelligent person, keep up the good work thanks
Well AC, I've been watching you for several years. You don't surprise me much, but you ALWAYS impress me! That concrete work was artistic! And that tree-takedown... I almost expected more trees to just give up and fall over without a fight! You have mastered that machine and that attachment. If Daniel Mfg sold you that part, they should refund your money because they just got the GREATEST advertising I've ever seen. You played that like a maestro. And I didn't yell at my screen one single time 'cause I thought you missed something. Wow, that was pretty! And pretty amazing! Sorry for all the exclamation points; even though I don't work in excavation and earthwork, that was just plain fun to watch. Thank you AC!
NO kidding eh? That's why I refuse to do it that way, I always insist on the concrete blocks that hold the wire or rebar up, they cost next to nothing and might take you an extra hour to tie them in. Cheers from Tokyo!!
When I was ten dad had his patio broken up. It was me, a sledge hammer, and a wheel barrow. I took me a few weeks but I got it done. We used the concrete as a block wall for the vegetable garden
I used to cut the tree then dig out the stump till Andrew showed me the difference in pushing the tree over then cutting the stump. I’ve learned allot from the man.
My dog Ellsa (Goldendoodle) and I really enjoy your videos. She is in love with Levi and Toby. When ever they appear on the screen she whines and barks and gets really excited. It is so strange to see a dog watch TV or PC Screen with such intensity and focus. I find it hilarious. We had a country farm just outside High Falls NY just about 16 miles of Kingston. My daughter lives in Kingston and I imagine your location is somewhat North of Kingston on the Hudson River. Keep up the good work you are doing and keep up on the videos.
~~~~~~ Amazing dexterity you have manoeuvring your skid steer and all the attachments. I wouldn't be surprised if you told me you can tee up a golf ball using it.... That 'beak' attachment you have on it i've never seen before . It's pretty darn neat ! Darn Clever!!!! ~~~~~~~
Reminds me of a conversation I had with a pavements shop foreman. He told me of a slab they made for a customer. He said he watched his men pull the reinforcing wire up to the center of the concrete as they placed it in the forms. later, it was determined that the slab was in the wrong place. As they removed the slab he noticed the wire was on the bottom. You can buy wire stands to place under the wire that holds it in place, we always used them after that.
I always thought skid-steers were pretty limited in use. I just never saw them used much. I must admit though, I am envious of some of the attachments you have shown. This, and the concrete mixer especially.
i subscribe to andrew ... and i dont know why, and yet he's getting hundreds of thousands of views per video, millions of views each year. his videos are something you can just watch ..... and then keep watching them, honest guy doing hoinest work and giving tips on repairs and other stuff ..... also watching him build his castle. andrew has became the king of the castle :D
