Splitting big logs and stumps 

Gotta admit it blew my mind a little when I realized it can split BOTH WAYS 🤯

I would watch anything Andrew posts. He could talk about macaroni and cheese and I’d sit here in awe.

When Andrew says "I'll get better at using this in time", he means about 5 minutes.

That log splitter you got actually really impressed me with the small feature of being able to split both ways. Saves the time of waiting for it to go back.

I like seeing Levi still inspecting the work.

It never ceases to amaze me how powerful hydraulics are, especially when you look at how they actually work, and how little effort is required on the part of the engine to exert massive force on the other end. Take for example his simple wood splitter that probably has a 5-10 hp lawn mower engine on it. It probably exerts somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 tons of force via the piston. Amazing.

Lol your always getting new toys Andrew. But your a smart very talented young man and investing in equipment for your future is wonderful. From and Aussie sister love watching your videos for years.

When Andrew posts a video, you stop everything to watch it.

That sound of the wood slow being torn and crushed is satisfying!

I am not an operator, so others will know better than I, but I have to believe Andrew's dexterity with his various machines seems top 1%. If I were selling that splitter, I would have Andrew do a demonstration commercial for me. He made it look easy.

It's amazing how many attachments there are for your skid steer.

It would be impossible- even using todays technology, to actually count how many different pieces of equipment and tools Andrew has!!

A great and well thought out tool! I like how it splits in either direction, and can grab and maneuver the logs around.

I just put my foot in it on my last comment to you. You got this mammoth splitter now! You really have my heart Andrew. I want to come work with you and I’m 72! You just inspire me to no end. Now like I said, go get yourself a mill. And get a crew to maximize your time and investment. I’d do this all day and be so happy; but not in the cold cold snowy days.

I like playing RU-vid on screen #2, while playing my video games on #1. But. I actually was fascinated by Andrew's new tool, and I *paused* my game, to watch a man split firewood for half an hour, and I found that more entertaining. And instructive. Andrew finds the *coolest** tools to get a difficult job done more efficiently. Thumbs up.

that log splitter is awesome. Amazing some of the attachments they make for the skid steers these days. Your get a return on that especially on your tire clean up you do. Can't wait for the next attachment you get for the skid steer.

When I heard "one more thing", my anticipation escalated. Then when I saw the tire, you probably heard my "Hell YEA". Anyone that had to take care of junk tires knows the PAIN. I did a yard with hundreds of tires and many had rims. The Harbor freight special was a savior, and by comparison a curse. GREAT tool. GREAT video. Thanks.

Grabbing, moving while splitting, readjust cut, move to sort pile while splitting. Took you 20 min to get a good process. Great vid Andrew!

I love to see what Andrew is up to next. I love when he buys new equipment and or attachments for his equipment and shows how to use them. The learning part about his videos are what i enjoy the most. I try to make videos on the projects I'm doing to teach and to get comments so I will learn as well. Great job I love this channel.

Why does it seem so satisfying to watch the logs being crushed to pieces? I have a friend who would say "That's the lazy man's way to cut firewood." But in the very next breath he'd ask "Where do I pick me up one of those things?" And now we know how the Firewood Fairies leave all of that wood in one night!

Andrew- I built my skidsteer splitter almost 20years back...dont be afraid to move your machine to line up pices for "straighter cuts" I find the best results standing the slices on edge and cuttin with the grain. I also find that the time to cut the pieces into even smaller is quicker for me with the machine than doing a seperate step with the smaller splitter..... I burned with an outdoor wood boiler so I didnot make every piece as small as you would for an regular stove but I did make a lot of smaller pieces that are easier on the ole back :P I love the double acting cutter on your splitter though. I see as the video goes you are gett ing the hang of it! You will wonder why you took so long to buy one!

Nice splitter, wish I could have had one as kid in the seventies. We heated with wood, could have saved a couple of axe handles, my back, etc. Have a day.

With the new splitter you could almost use it exclusively! No need to handle any firewood other that stack it and throw it into the stove! I enjoyed both vids Andrew, The only improvement I can see it if it could turn 90 degrees, 180 or even spin! Great tool, saves much back breaking work

WOW! Gives whole new meaning to, "Hot knife thru butter"! Plus, the big deal is, all those HEAVY logs in that pile do not have to be moved (in their full size). I love how it cuts from say, 6 to 12 o'clock with no stress at all. Thank you for sharing this new toy. Glad you found it. Sonny (CT)

Andrew gets with the program quickly with an implement that he has never used before. I still find myself yelling at the screen to help him out in the rare cases he misses a big block that needs more splitting.

We bought one just like that 5 years ago found it to be S L O W and awkward to use and after buying 6 other types of spliters finally bought a powersplit double self propelled with a 25 foot conveyor it was a lot of money but it is by far the best unit We have ever had it took our production from 300 full cords to well over 1000 per year and our buyers are vary happy with what they buy from us, very clean and consistent fire wood

I used to split the stumps with a small explosive charge, for me still is the best way, it bre the stumps and cleans all the dirt and stones, ready for the chainsaw...what a fun... Nice work and nice machines Andy. 👌👍
