Jez places himself in these situations. His words always seem to be crafted so they can easily be taken out of context, intentionally or not. It definitely gives the story more exposure. Just when the good news surrounding the show seemed to be talking off this happens. Poor Xbox. 🤣 PlayStation’s bad news is great news. Xbox’s bad news is catastrophic and it’s the end of Xbox. Lol Both Xbox and PS will be third party but the conversation is all about Xbox. We’re getting them all on PC. PS may walk it a little slower, but the whole slate is coming day one eventually.

U right he does do that instead of being definite in what he says. He always leaves opening for people to say these things and then be like I didn't say that.. all the games going . Just like Phil said just cause quantum break on PC doesn't mean all games going to PC...but all games went to PC .

Same story every week.🙄 Of course they run analysis. The result of that are the current releases on other platforms. Just like the "CoD not on GP-discussion" this is outdated for months now. Perfect Dark is in shambles...also outdated. This whole topic has already dealt with during the ABK deal. And if anyone has listened, Sarah Bond just said that their strategy (case by case basis) hasn't changed. You are fed information from the day before yesterday and keep jumping the gun. The biggest problem XBox has are the content creators. Absolute drama queens and extremely hasty with spreading rumors instead of checking the facts.

CFO Amy Hood call on Xbox to trim payroll and not rely on ABK revenue. They demanded cuts from Bethesda, and Bethesda sacrificed these studios rather than trimming the publishing and marketing departments payrolls.

@@tahan9323 It's pretty factual that Tango won 2 game awards and a bafta. It's also factual that Xbox executives publicly stated that it met and exceeded all key metrics and that they couldn't be happier. They also publicly said that they hope Tango has another 14 years of life. You use these factual elements to figure out that someone other than Xbox thought Tango needed to close.

It’s really weird how much the point “Microsoft will win if they Purchase Take 2 or Square or Sega, or Crystal Dynamics ” STILL comes up in these conversations. When they sent out a email last week stating the studio closures was due in part to Management being spread Too thin to run the current amount of studio. Like dudes let it go the season of Acquisitions is over, we can’t pray that Daddy Bill Gates opens his purse again to save Xbox. It’s ALL up to management to start making good decisions and being Good at their jobs.

All companies answer to stake holder so by Definition Sony is in charge of Playstation and can do what they like? Lets ignore all of the managers and all of the expertise they bring over years of gaming industry experience. MS will not allow the main games go to other consoles, the simple reason being why sub to game pass, Netflix, Disney and Amazon prime all have there own content for a good reason gaming media is not dissimilar to movies.

People are not mad because there's a black character. People are mad because they been asking for a Samurai AC for years, and when they finally get it, they decided to focus on DEI to gain some political points instead of giving people the character they wanted to play. And this is about both characters, not only the male one. But you didn't say anything about people mad for playing as a woman, because that's not the problem. Companies made it political, not the players. In my case, i don't care about this topic in particular, but i care about having an honest argument. Specially giving the state of the industry.

Case by case basis to no red line. Which is it? I'm only willing to keep investing in Xbox ecosystem if I see Xbox future. A shareholder won't do it, neither will I. Nobody invest blindly on anything unless that person has screws loose. I'm no different. Microsoft needs to be absolutely clear on its stance so I can decide if I want to stay aboard or jump ship. Till that happen I can't trust anything.

Back to the real world, Microsoft have already announced they are developing their next gen console, it's better to have lower hardware sales and have plenty of AAA First Party exclusives releasing this year, than be in Sonys position of more hardware sales but no current gen AAA First Party games.

Every big game company has its own iconic games and I think they should not go to rival platforms, for example, Starfield Gears, Halo and many similar games with intellectual property, I mean, these are the things that make Xbox Xbox, I think they should not go to Playstation and Nintendo because These kinds of things both attract Xbox and bring it a certain reputation, so long story short, I think games that have become the face of Xbox should not go to PlayStation, my personal opinion.

Calling everyone racist who wants to play a japanese man in feudal Japan is like calling someone racists who wants to play a black man in feudal Egypt, like AC Origins. No one complained. The gaming community isn't racist. They love CJ, Franklin, Bayek. Imagine you had a AC game set in feudal Africa and you play a white dude (even though he's historical accurate). The outrage by the progressive and black community would be understandable. Calling everyone racist is not as tolerant or good as you think boom. Don't mix valid criticism with racism. The word has lost all meaning. No one complained about Blade being Blade or Black Panther. This is specifically about Japanese culture and feudal Japan. Everyone knows why Ubisoft included Yasuke.
