Since playing this,I have lost my mother, father grandfather, etc.I was a kid then.Watching this makes my heart hurt and Happy all at once!!Ty for uploading all of this-Sunder85
I’ve lost my older brother who had been the one playing this when we were kids. He had passed away last year at the age of 32. Since then I’ve been just browsing through youtube watching gameplays of the games that he used to play to reminisce and remember him by. I just think as if he was the one playing, and I’m just the little sister that has been watching him play in awe all this time. I’m sorry you had lost loved ones too… we’ll meet them again someday. Maybe.
I just bought this game as well as final Fantasy Tactics and a bunch of other good RPGs . I am 30 now and have a good life and kids etc and at this point in life I'm taking the to slow down and remember the things I've loved and miss from being a kid . I'm already two hours into BOF3 and loving it! I missed the random battles and story and great characters and oh my god I've missed fishing ! The fishing mini game is so fun and peaceful . Discovering genes for my dragon! Training boyd he 98 pound weakling so he can get his girlfriend . Running wild through the Forrest with teepo and rei! Going after the corrupt mayor . Just all of it . I feel like I'm 13 all over again
Loved this game growing up. Took me years to beat. That stupid riddle where you had to pray in front of the statue (i.e. just stand there for like 10 seconds. Seriously!? FU!) made me put the game down for a full year before I picked it up and just randomly figured it out. Those were the days of no internet! Still, super nostalgia watching this. I remember wanting to dye my hair blue because I thought the main character sprite was so cool. Hahaha. Great run!
The breath of fire games were awesome. the sad story the retturning characters, and npc's the music everything. What i would give for a spiritual successor BoF game.. It makes me sad there will never be a good BoF game again:(
LiftedX You could always emulate thats what I did a while back. Played the game from start to end, got all the genes and skills. It was very fun and nostalgic sometimes you just have to finish those small chapters in your life to move on lol
I have beat this game probably over a dozen times and it still doesn't get old over the years. One of the best games i have ever played since it came out when i was growing up. Now i wanna play it again xD have not played for a few years now
@@Bobsob He was on the floor below the platform, when battle was initiated, the game placed them on the stage, effectively allowing them to skip a puzzle and lots of random encounters.
Wow I can't believe I just watched the whole video! Awesome speedrun! It is insane that he doesn't heal the entire run even at the end when he has no life with any character. Super combo is the most broken move in the game. Breath of fire 3 is such a classic!
i remember i was so happy when i saw the Weretiger i knew its Ray ^^ Games like this or Suikoden 2 show that Graphic isnt everything . Today stupid Kids always cry for Graphic
This was actually a pretty good story lol I remember being stuck under Wydia till I was level 22 before I even found out I was meant to look on the stone XD The desert was a pain too I was always I was level 30 then and by the time I figured out how to get to oasis I was level 45 XD
The onlything i dislike these days the random encounters.... prefer walking free and if i want to level up i'll go look for monsters. I just don't the patience anymore i guess :-)
thx for upload the video bof3 was a brilliant game for me as kid, hours of playin it was a great fun. Another title which is great is Lufia 2 for Snes greetz
Breath of Fire 4 was still ok, although didn't like the story or the characters as much, plus the dragon gene system was entirely gone, that was dissapointing. And I liked this art style better. Overall this is my fav BoF game of all, and honestly it's my fav RPG of all time, but BoF 4 was atleast still decent, BoF 5 was horrible, and 6 is a mobile game...
While I love this game, and would love to see a remake...if Capcom were to remake this for the PS4, I could see them taking Square Enix's approach to how they're remaking FF7 in "episodes", and release BoF3 in two "episodes". The first part could be Ryu as a kid, and the second part could be while he's an adult.
Fun Fact - Before the shift in character design staff, Momo's face was suppose to be based on the rabbit, not dog (Grass Runner) as she was later forcefully reclassified as. This was evident by Ryu's Dragon Fusion form with Momo, which takes the form of a rabbit, not a dog.
@xMisterEpicx What does upscaled mean, and how can Mupen64 be upscaled? Why does it being made on the PCSX matter (as opposed to another emulator, for instance?)
Does anybody know how to get past the part where Garr joins your party? Every time I get to that part I get an error saying 'file not found ID 01/02/05'
BiotreX I remember back in the day I was stuck for days but I finally got through totally by random chance after like one straight real time hour ... Damn it was painful. Thank god there are teleporters later on to avoid going thru the desert again. From what I've read it was a translation error.
What he tells you are the correct directions. What he writes in his guide that you refer to out in the desert are the WRONG directions. It's a tiny little trick they played that made that whole section utter hell. Crueeeeel!
Very great speed run :) I just wish the boss battles could have been more cinematic with the dragon abilities, instead of just the super combo. But thats a speed run for you :P
can somebody please explain to me as to why there are different Ryus and Ninas for every BOF game and how they don't know eachother everytime? Sorry, please correct me if I'm wrong.
