Breathe Clean Air! Porsche Cayenne 958 Cabin Filter DIY 

Porsche couldn’t just put it behind the glove box and have a glove box release! Doing this tomorrow on the wife’s 2017 Cayenne GTS …great as usual Kev!

Always so grateful for the Cayenne content. Thank you! I did this job a few weeks ago. It’s super easy, and even though there are all these connectors and screws it’s actually not bad at all. Two extra things I did was one, I used a plastic body panel tool to pry everything apart in a safe and gentle way, and two, once in there I cleaned all the panels and components since it was so dirty and dusty. Nice work Kevin!!!

Great helpful video! One thing that may help others: when removing the cover, if you insert a small flat-bladed screwdriver in the circular part of the latch, you can pry with it to release the latch. Could be easier than trying to get a larger screwdriver up behind the latch.

Dang. I bet mine is 100x dirtier. I bought my 2017 turbo with 63000 miles and it's at 82000 now. I wonder have anyone ever changed it. Thanks for the video Kevin

Love your videos, you have the same year as mine. Have you done any videos on the cooling system hoses and pipes at the rear of the 4.8 V8? Mine has a small leak, and I have seen anything from just removing the intake to dropping the engine. I'm a DIY, that put an engine in my XJ Jeep, so I'm not afraid to tackle it, just like to know hacks that could make it easier. (Some jobs, that's not possible I know)

Kevin I had water coming from clogged drain in that very area that I cleared . Noticed what appeared to be an air temp sensor dangling from a wire. I plugged it into the lower plastic air duct . Was that where it belongs ? Thanks Phil K 2012 cayenne .
