Dmitry I appreciate you putting on these old fights. One thing I can say Salito promotions is a “people’s promotional company”. All about Boxing Day in and day out
Nas is a fantastic boxer and I never doubted his ability to box and entertain but His competitors were Kevin Kelly and Barrera. Kevin knocked him down more times than Barrera. Nas wasn’t ready for Barrera. Nas didn’t study his opponent. I read the story behind Nas’s prep time behind the Barrera fight and he wasn’t prepared. It was rushed. There was some injury on Nas’s part and the fight was rushed.
There was a strong injury to his hand and he had to lose weight in a short time and this is a painful process. It is clear that the promoters and others wanted a new face and a solution that satisfies the parties “responsible for the boxers” in order to benefit. Brother, things sometimes get strange and make you feel sad and’s doubt and the sad thing about it is that the boxer himself does not know about this nonsense he is exposed to.
I think this fight more than any other shows that Nas was a real boxer, if he had to work and get a result against a good opponent he would. His style works, it’s a weird one but he knows what he’s doing. He’s past his very best here but still great to watch.
This is complete injustice because even the layman in the field will know that he never win this match. If what it takes to win a match is to come into the wrong and dance around like Mohamed Ali and do all the acrobatics and continue to receive blow then there's no need for the challenge.
Always entertaining to watch, when he listened to his trainer he won, when he did, nt he lost, like most geniuses he was his own worst enemy, peace Prince you did Sheffield proud.
I loved it when Nas constantly switched to Southpaw and back whenever he felt like it, it confused the hell out of his opponents and was a very clever tactic that gave him an edge in fights. I still love Nas, he's one of my boxing heroes to be honest.🇬🇧✌️
PURE SHOWMANSHIP AND ARROGANCE........ I LOVED HIM!!! I'm old enough to have enjoyed Nas in his prime, his boxing skills are unbelievable, his hand speed is mesmerising and his savage punching power is absolutely phenomenal. His stance, his guard, his style, his fancy dancing feet and toying with opponents is almost a dead ringer for Roy Jones Jnr. He's one of the greatest fighters of all time, I love watching these fights back...... FIGHTS 37 WINS 36 KO 31 LOSSES 1. Not bad, eh? 🇬🇧✌️
People shit on Naz for being cocky and his taunting habit, but these things are legitimate tactics. Ali himself said it. When you make a man mad, he stops thinking properly, and then he becomes easy to beat. Another thing I find interesting is that Naz often taunts to set traps. It looks like run of the mill arrogance but Naseem Hamed was actually a tremendously clever, tactical fighter.
Yea people miss out on that. It's his way of boxing and taking his time. He stays behind that lazy jab, dances, and he finds what shots hes gonna use. Whether it's the check hook or something else
This is how boxing has to be - and I don't just mean only the fighters, but also the fact that there are no annoying commentators here - you can hear the punches and the breath of the athletes.
First time i watch the 3 rd class fight of naseem... always he is active and fast but here he won by chance by luck... you are always show proudy and you are a muslim be humble and start with the name of Almighty Allah for this dignity
That wasn't luck. That was his strategy... To just use a jab and not to get involved in a brawl. The other guy seemed to have only one strategy - getting into a brawl - but Naseem wasn't giving it to him. I think this was naseem's easiest fight ever
You don't bring drama in a fight to underestimate your opponent,,NO! Boxing is a unique type of sport where by the boxing funs & followers has to notice that.
What an extraordinary exhibition made all the more enjoyable not having to suffer the cliches and comments of irritating commentators and their breathless 'hand-maidens'. Great upload, thanks.
This is the most entertaining match I have ever watched. Nazeem was not just a boxer but an entertainer. I enjoyed his dancing while boxing, his mocking and his tactics. Praying for new entertainers like him to come up in boxing. Best match ever
@@rockyruane9379 yes in my judgement it is. I have watched all the fights of Mayweather, Manny, sugar ray, Anthony Joshua. They were all entertaining but Naz stands out because his style is unique Have u seen that style anywhere? All the names that I mentioned have speed, power, and are elusive but they have same style of play almost. But Naz's is unique
@@jesusthegamer8201 I bet you haven't fought your entire life. Battle style is a thing and how the strategy play hands is also a big deciding factor on who emerges as victor in the end.
I think, the main reason why people still talk about it is because Naseem acted like a clown and he didn't show a fighting spirit, since he retired after that fight at the age of 27. Of course he was an entretainer, but he also played stupid games, and as people say "play stupid games, win stupid prizes"
Conserving energy; he realized Macculough could take his hard punches and wasn't getting tired. When as a boxer you see that in front of you, you win on points by scoring more and avoiding taking any real hits yourself. It was actually pretty mature of Naseem to recognize that he wasn't for sure knocking his opponent out, and to switch tactics rather than stubbornly keep trying. He did go for a few KO punches but wasn't trying to force it. ... You also have to consider that stiff punches from the outside start to wear at you. You can't stop them, they hurt, and you can't see to fight back when there's a glove in your face half the fight. Naz secured that fight off those stiff stinging straight punches that you are criticizing. They were the right call. Good corner man.
*_For what it's worth... The majority of Naseem's opponents, like most fighters, are all tensed up, on the edge and totally stressed, which drains one's adrenalin faster than anything else... Naseem, on the other hand, has learned the secret of staying loose, relaxed and calm to conserve the limited supply of adrenalin at his disposal at any given time... Adrenalin is like Nitrous Oxide on a race car, too much at any given time will burn out your engine, but called on only when needed, it will explode your reflexes and reaction times by 300%_* 🐍👀😎👌
Unfortunately, with that stupid footwork, that idiot can't even catch up. It was like a bull fight. The bull fighter was toying with that bull that can only stay low and couldn't touch the bull fighter. LOL How many punches did that stupid bull eat? Have you counted? LOL LOL
You telling me this version of Naz doesn’t cause Barrera Morales etc major problems? Here he is with ingle, his body looks tight and solid. His punches have ferocity, his legs are there. In that Barrera fight he came in the ring as shambles because his build up was a shambolic and his ego went through to the roof. Naz fked himself up by leaving Brendan.
I can’t help myself from laughing 🤣😂🤣 everytime i see his body language in avoiding punches and being hit. So hilarious. Naseem built a legacy of being funny or comedian for himself! Who will forget this guy!!! So smart in using the sport to made it into everyones attention! Lolsssss
