He seems more at ease now than after he made his come back and started making interviews. He sees now how much he was missed and is loved. I am truly happy for him, he deserves the live he is getting.
Speaking along those lines though, something should be said for how at ease Graham makes his guests feel. I've seen countless others agree with me countless times that he's easily one of the best talk show hosts for that very reason.
Yes, it worries me a bit. Brendan is at that age were he might just self-destruct at any moment. Like Mel Gibson, or Kanye. I hope he can keep it together.
Seriously. WHO DOESN’T LOVE THIS MAN! HE IS A TREASURE! As I’ve noticed as of late, he sounds like old Brendan Fraser again. He sounds a lot more confident and sounds like he has a lot of fun. There’s that spark in his eyes given back to him due to all the praise he’s been getting and it is well deserved. We’ve missed him so much and his performance as Charlie in The Whale might be one of the greatest performances I’ve ever seen. Welcome back king. We love you. Can’t wait for the Brenaissance. ❤️👑
I love how you can gradually see Brendan getting more comfortable on talk shows (if you are on a Brendan-bender). I adore this man and his humble personality. He deserves everything that is being thrown his way.
@@Magdalena8008s it wasn't the head of a studio, it was the vice president of the Hollywood Foreign Press, the group behind the Golden Globes, they're a group of entertainment journalists. He was screwed over by his divorce with his wife, where she had managed to get the courts to force him to give up the majority of his wealth to her in both alimony and child support. He couldn't afford to pay the annual $600k just solely in alimony, as he wasn't getting hired to do any movies, just the occasional guest spot on a TV show.
I love Brendan and seeing this fun side of him in addition to his heartfelt gratitude of being welcomed by the community of actors again w/his amazing performance.
I'm so happy seeing Brendan Fraser having fun. He's so talented, I'm looking forward to see him in many more movies to come. Another complement to Graham Norton because he puts his guests at ease and they enjoying talking and laughing with each other.
He is one of only a very select few universally loved personalities on the internet - and yes I agree with you he is still underrated and under praised as it is!
I just love how authentic this interview feels, we need more Brendan 🥰 and the funniest part is that he described this story exactly the same many years ago on the show - you know that the Monkey Arc will last forever 😂😂
@@goyasolidar exactly. The man's been in the acting business for over 30 years and people still can't write his name properly 🙃. Brandon is that character from BH 90210 🤣
from the ouside, a casual public observer, looks like Brendan has gone an incredible transformation in the last few months, he sounds and look more confident and secure in himself :) here's for a great future ahead of him !!
I had to look up Crystal, because I thought “Wait, that monkey’s still alive?!” Yep, 28 & still kicking. Then I looked up how long her species (the tufted capuchin) lived for. Direct quote from the LA Zoo site: “A capuchin’s lifespan in the wild is 15 to 25 years in the wild; in human care it can be more than *40* years.”
I am so glad to see Brendan coming back to his old self, full of energy and genuinely cares for his fans who watched with horror with what happened with him. Brendan is a paragon of wholesomeness, if Brendan and Keanu ever met irl it would cause a singularity. Seriously I love him as a actor and as a person after everything he went through.
Seeing him recently, it's seemed like Brendan's got this tremor in his voice. No doubt caused by what he's been through, a lack of confidence, nervousness, etc. But it does sound like it's easing, like he's slowly blooming again, and it's so good to see.
@Harold Paulle That seems a bit hostile. Brendan's a good actor, and he seems like a decent, genuine guy. The fact that he was able to shake off his blacklisting when others haven't doesn't mean it's trivial, and it certainly affected him. Nothing wrong with wanting to see him get his groove back. Perhaps you missed the entire comment section pouring out love and support for the man? If you somehow have disdain for that, you've got a lot of shouting to do.
The best thing about Graham Norton show is everyone is comfortable to be themselves. I love Brendan so much. He’s getting back to his funny self and jolly self.
I'm so happy for Brendan, he's looking good and he looks happy. After all that he went through, it's really admirable to see him back again, and being nominated for best actor, hope he wins! He deserves it!
Hope Brendan gets an Oscar ❤️❤️ He is such an amazing human being and a good actor. Glad to see him, he is back on track after series of flops and downturns
Man, y'all don't know how happy I am to see Brendan back and finally getting the attention, respect and fame he deserved after his hiatus. Dude's been through a lot and it warms my heart that people loved him despite his problems and his reputation being ruined.
His reputation within the industry is well known. He got his well deserved Karma years ago and is due for more. Just because Aronofsky cast him in a role no one else wanted for a decade, doesn't mean he's back. He has 2 bit parts in films that won't be out until next year and no offers.
This is amazing! Brandon is so freakin funny!! I’ve always loved him, my first pg-13 movie was the mummy 2 and since then I’ve loved him. This video is going to be all over tiktok in a few days 😅
I have been Stalking, umm, watching Brendan Fraser for years. He did it all, comedy, action, drama, Rom-com and Teen in such a short time. He will always be one of my all time favorite actors. I still go to find scenes of him in Encino Man - His timing and humor were on point. I can not wait for him to accomplish everything he deserves and has a right to. Karma baby - you earned this and you deserve this.
0:59 "...disappear into the ceiling and - this is late-night television, right?" "Yes." "-START JACKING IT!" I love how Brendan, like many an American guest star before, doesn't know how chill British censors are (and it's not even a curse word, that one was pretty tame!).
Why can't the US be just as tame these days. Sure there are some words and stuff that shouldn't be allowed globally but there's stuff that is censored and I'm wondering why it is
It was absolutely devastating to find out what happened to someone who brought me so much joy through his work during my formative years, I hope that he can heal in knowing that he gave so much to so many.
Oh damn, now that he's in his element and clearly not as depressed as he seemed before, he's the exact same as he was when he was younger, same personality, same voice, he's still in there and I love that! :D
