My wife spoke to Amy, months ago too build our 79 series, very professional but unfortunately our time frame was 9 months from Toyota. This 79 has to be one of the best going around! Good job Brent 👍🤘
Happy New Year! What a fantastic truck / canopy / RTT combination! This is very close to what we are considering to build to tow a trailer (e.g., TVAN). Just out of curiosity: (1) any reason why you do not seem to be a fan of portals and (2) why did you chose not to extend the LC79 by 300mm? Greetings from Europe. Cheers, Sven & Ellen
Hi Sven, we don't mind portals! We've got a up and coming build with portals we will put a video out on. We didn't extend it due to costs unfortunately, maybe next build!
Well thought out tourer what is the weight as it sits? I am also working out if the 4200 gvm will be ok when I add 350 tow ball weight or if I need to go to the 4495 Also working out if the 300 ext is needed all I have read ect says yes for tow a van 18-20ft 3500kg
Its sitting around 3900 as it sat! Pretty heavy! The GCM does not change much with engineer-able GVM kits. 300 extension changes the car quite a bit and does make it more stable especially with a heavy load. I wouldn't say its needed but will greatly improve the quality of the ride.
Hey great video mate... But seriously..”A coffee making machine”...FFS get a grip of yourself Not trying to put you down but Jesus shit you woke soy boys wanna be camping gurus really need to take a step back and connect with reality what camping is about... If you want those toys...stay home and park your car in the garage and spend your money wisely elsewhere
Totally understand your point of view, we certainly like to push the limits on our demo vehicles to show what can be achieved if so inclined. Its defiantly up to our customers weather they chose to go this far or take a more straight forward approach to there personal system. PS: If the wife wants a coffee machine, she gonna get it. hahaha. (happy wife happy life). Brent.
