Slide Show of the amazingly talented Brent Spiner. In the background - it's Brent himself, Singing "Zing, Went the Strings of my Heart", from his wonderful album - Ol' Yellow Eyes is Back
I know exactly what you mean! He's old enough to be my Dad too, (in fact he's 8 years older than my Dad), but he's THE most gorgeous sexiest man I've ever seen! Everything about him is so God damn gorgeous. His eyes, his nose, his mouth, his smile, his walk, his voice. And the fact he makes me laugh and is so talented is the cherry on the cake of gorgeousness.
It's rather amazing, the number of people who have been on Star Trek with fantastic voices. There needs to be a big, multi-disc album of Trek actors singing.......well, the ones that CAN sing. No offense, Mr. Shatner. I'd pay top dollar for a CD with Spiner, Bakula, and Schultz. :D And others, of course. :)
Just great! What a multifaceted man. Love his voice. (Where's that iTunes downloady button when youwant one?) Thanks for sharing. Brent rocks! Ps. He's mega-hot at 60!
Oh so would I. But like you, I haven't got the money to spend on frivolities like the theatre. I suppose I'll have to wait until I win the lottery. I take it you've heard Sit Down, John from 1776 on here? His voice is so powerful. And his projection in the speaking parts is unbelieveable. I've just thought, if I do win the lottery I could probably get him to come and sing just for me. A private concert. How amazing would that be! I wonder if he'd do it?
ZING! Brent/Data! ZING! THOSE GORGEOUS BLUE EYES! I'm a DataGirl bonafide and true Lovin' dat android thru and thru He's fully functional, knows multiple techniques : ) When I see him my heart just leaps.
Data (and Lore) made me love him too. But now I love him in everything he does. I watched Manhunt for Claude Dallas recently on RU-vid and still haven't got over how beautiful he looked. I've never described a man as beautiful before, but I can't think of another word that comes close. And his eyes were more amazing than usual. And I agree with you about his singing. His voice is so gorgeous. I go all tingly when I hear him.
I wonder if Mr. Spiner ownes the rights to the CD or Musicrama? There is a Brent Spiner store on amazon. Unfortunatly it is largly empty due to the high demand on Brent Spiner merchandise.
Just went on Amazon, because my mom has an account, and its now $34.99. I am going to mention it to my mom tomorrow, so maybe she'll order it for me. Its not a book either, so I can ask. I'm on a book buying hiatus since on I bought 5 at the convention I went to where I actually met Brent. He may be old enough to be my grandfather, but he is still hot at 68.
I posted this video yesterday to my Facebook Timeline to mark Brent's birthday. I think everyone liked it. The sound quality is superb and your video editing in creating the slideshow is fantastic, with just the right touch of effects. A great tribute to a wonderful actor and singer. Congratulations! Job well done!
He's not the best looking bloke in the world, but there's definitely something about him! Just thought I'd mention that I just watched Nemesis (again) and cried at the end (again) - I'm so emotional lately.
@kayshkorn No he's not! Well, only when he's playing a villain. He gives me the creeps sometimes when he does an evil smile - he could give Anthony Perkins a run for his money.
I do it cheap. I just listen to his songs on youtube and enjoy so much. I collected records that were by people you didn't know could sing. I have so many, Brent, of course, and Pernell Roberts (actually all 4 players on Bonanza), Jerry Orbach, Vince Edwards, Richard Chamberlain, and on and on. I can get many, many of them on youtube.
I didn,t even know he could sing, they should have let him sing more on star trek, they wasted part of his talent, did you know he started on night court?
