"I’ve been shooting with a Q camera every single day since I first acquired my Q1 in 2016 and subsequently my Q2 in 2019. To me nothing replicates what a Q does, which is to offer maximal quality for minimal effort. It’s a completely frictionless experience shooting with this camera. I definitely gravitate to the particular field of view of the 28mm on a full frame sensor and the relative falloff of this lens wide open, so it’s most often the tool I want to employ, whether it be a portraiture or landscape situation. I was extremely intrigued by the advancements Leica made with the Q3 while knowing that it kept the core spirit and functionality of the previous versions, and therefore it was a no-brainer to pick one up." - Bret Curry

The ultimate camera for my photos & hiking RU-vid channel. My favorite focal length, Leica Summilux glass, compact, amazing sensor, shockingly impressive video specs. It really looks like the most exciting camera on the market for what I do… just have to wait until the release of the Leica Q7 so I can pick up the Q3 used 😅. Maybe one day I’ll create with this but until then I’ll keep dreaming while I save my pennies.

Just got mine yesterday, upgrading a Q2. Absolutely LOVE it! If you loved the experience of shooting with the Q and Q2, this is just more of the same wonderful experience, expanded!

I am coming from a Q2, and am wondering if the photo quality is different? (exclduing the 60megapixels). Do they look better? And what about dynamic range?

@@torsteinv34 Yes. Very yes. The dynamic range is definitely better, but even more than that, the noise in high ISO images is FAR better than the Q2. That was always a complaint of mine with the Q2, also shooting Sony cameras. The Q2 noise was fairly aggressive and strong in low light. The Q3 does FAR better with this. And yes, I'm sure it's because it's using a newer Sony sensor.

Leica, If you really want to draw us into your world, please provide a version of the Q3 with a 35mm lens. I realize that with the high res sensor one can crop in. But that is profoundly different perspective than an actual 35mm lens. Thanks

Hi Can check if your camera shots the correct number shots as to the SD card you have? Currently using a Sony 128gb Tough V90 card. I believe i should have at least a 1400 shots based on one DNG 90mb but it is showing only 798 shots when i set to only L-DNG.

Great images. Poor audio - it's been compressed so much it's been attenuated -10dB with the voice now fighting for clarity against overly dense background music.

ehh digital is just boring now, all the cameras are perfect, images are perfectly bland

and then when people shoot film, people will say the same thing. why does it look grainy? shots look the same. Listen, everything will be boring because everyone copies everyone else (same photos, places, captions, content). The reason why it's all getting boring is because content and creativity are getting saturated, heightened by social. The trick is to just find something you personally like and do that.
