1:20 But it’s not real….it’s just acting. But Hart probably views professional wrestling much different than most. There are brothers in boxing that swore to their parents and to each other to never fight each other in the ring because it would be a real competition, real punches, real blood, for real money, and for real wins and losses on their boxing record. Professional wrestling is more real to some than others, and I think that Bret Hart even said as much in the “Wrestling w/ Shadows” joint.

I personally feel that Owen should've won that Steel Cage Match against Bret & become WWF Champion. I personally feel that he could've had at least one run as champion & he could've been one hell of a heel champion. Anyway, I think he could've won the title from Bret at SummerSlam 1994 & then he could've carried it all the way to WrestleMania 11 where Bret FINALLY defeats Owen in the main event in an I Quit Match, becomes a 3x WWF Champion, & officially ends the feud once & for all.

I was today years old when I found out that Pilman was in the Hart Foundation... Bret should've stayed in WWF. He would've been the perfect anti-heel to Austin's anti-hero for years, and he could also have had an incredible feud with Vince and post smile Shawn. Then again, maybe Bret left because he knew that Steve was about to take over, the same as Shawn 'retired' when Austin got big

So more than anything Bret wanted Hogan money and Vince by the end wasn't able to pay him that without screwing over like half the roster. So Vince told Bret ask Turner who could pay him that money. Interesting I listen Prichard and Eric talk about Bret in 97 and after when he was in WCW and oddly enough they both realized after comparing notes they got the impression Bret didn't want to leave but worked himself into a shoot.
@djangofett4879
@djangofett4879 28 дней назад
Bret did want to stay. he got a lot more money per year when he went to WCW but he very specifically wanted to stay at WWF, even taking less money. vince wanted to end the contract anyway. so they worked out an exit agreement and then Vince broke the agreement. this idea that Bret wanted exorbitant pay which was going to screw over half the roster is just completely false. look at how much money Vince paid to Mike Tyson. BTW, Bischoff is just a liar or has a poor memory, its hard to tell. and Prichard, as likeable as he is, isnt the most reliable source either

How about looking at a situation from someone else's perspective like accepting someone's apology like Shawn's and then trashing him afterwards to this day. Do nothing but trash the company that you worked for then go back to work for them. When he was happy with a match he would turn up right before the match would start so that way it didn't have time for anything to be changed. If he wasn't happy about something he'd make sure he was there on time to get it exactly how we wanted it. Yeah he was great in the ring but he done just as much politics as everybody else.
