Been EDCing for 20 years of practice and constantly adjusting. Right now my Benchmade has been in my pocket for the last ten years of cutting, prying, and other things knifes should of shouldn't be doing! Nice video Dan! Cheers!
@@HopsANDgnarly Best knife I've ever owned. I'm about to send it in for the first time to get them to sharpen it. I can't quite get as sharp as it came from the factory. I use the full sized Griptilion with serrations. Over the last ten years this thing has never let me down. I really should get a back up Benchmade while this one is away!
Been carrying a pocket knife for years, love the Gerber! I always have friends making fun of me for keeping a knife on me, but then 15 minutes later I hear “hey can I borrow your knife?” Loving the variety of content you’re putting out now. Might need to pick up a few things from this video, especially the refractometer!
Idk how much use it would get in a home brewery, but as a pro brewer, I always make sure I have a good flashlight on me! Helps to see details inside fermenters when I’m cleaning, and I use it for a few other various daily tasks as well
Dan what is the tool bench with the wooden top you roll out in your garage and brew on? Would love to see your setup with that in a video. I’ve got an Anvil foundry and rolling around my garage with tools in tow looks legit!
Oh man I love those toolboxes. And good eye! That's what all these tools are sitting on in this video. They're made by Husky and sold at Home Depot. I actually have a couple of them. One is the 5 drawer rolling toolbox and the other has three drawers and a great big shelf on the bottom. Really any rolling toolbox would work in the same way. The ones from Harbor Freight seem like good value as well but I don't personally own one yet.
I went down the edc rabbit hole a few years ago, as far as pocket knives go I’ve got around 60, plus flashlights, pens, pry bars and pouches. Check out the Vosteed Mini Nightshade knife
Blown away by that refractometer. Do you find that it's accurate? I'll buy one immediately if so. I've had trouble with the $20 "hold it up to the light" refractometers but just curious if this one is more accurate. Love the video.
Yep my tilt always agrees with the readings I take on that refractometer. There’s a link in the description if you wanna kick a couple pennys back to the channel 🤘🏼🍻
Dan, if you want to truly go down the rabbit hole check out Taylor Martin (Best Damn EDC channel). He’s the best. It’s not for home brewing but EDC in general but still worth checking out if you haven’t see his stuff.
