Blake Perkins alone has robbed multiple homeruns. Jackson Chourio has robbed a couple as well. Sal Frelick is another great fielder. That's not even counting Joey Ortiz, Wily Adames, Brice Turang, and William Contreras. The Brewers defense has improved so much over the last few years, it's incredible.
Good win for the Brew Crew but we gotta give props to that one fan who caught 3 foul balls in a row in one inning alone. Put that on the highlight reel and get that young man a contract!
I've seen a few games where a fan caught 2 balls but 3 and all in the 1st inning? And all three were difficult - lunging to his right - leaning down and to his left - jumping and spearing it to his left - just unreal.
Nice to see the offensive explosion. This team needs to be able to do this against teams like LA, NY, St.Louis, Atlanta, etc. But still nice to see Back to back homeruns. Oh and to the fan who caught 3 balls, that was epic! I spent 30-40 games in 78, another 40 games in 79, and 30 in 1980 and not once did a ball come anywhere near us. He gets three in one inning? Wow.
That's Milwaukee's plan.. to do this against the best. If ya get a #1 or #2 seed in each league, you only gotta win 2 series to make it to the World's. Don't laugh, but Philly is a bit scared.
30 seconds in I'm thinking about jokes to make that the game was so boring they had to include a fan catching a foul ball. 2 minutes later... Okay, well played.
Why are there even base coaches in baseball anymore? If that Oakland SS isn’t looking at the play his entire way around the bases he is safe, easily. The Brewers do this constantly as well and it is maddening.
