The michael version was so funny

I always had junky single-speed '60s bikes when I was a kid. The thing about old single-speed bikes is that they are ridiculously fast for no obvious reason. All the neighborhood kids would have new mountain bikes and BMX bikes, and I would just smoke all of them in races no matter what. Even in college I continued to ride a junky single-speed '60s bike around campus. And I continued to baffle people with its speed. Thing was fast enough that I could ride along in the street and keep up with the cars driving around campus. "Why is that thing so fast?!" was a phrase that always brought a little smirk to my face.

I never could ride a bike without training wheels. Nor can I now. But one time, this kid was making fun of me because he assumed that because I wasn't on a bike, I must not know how to ride (I mean, it's true, but there's no way he could've known). So I goaded him into trying to ram me with his bike, and he took the bait. Little did I know, his brother was coming from the other side, trying to hit me as well. I jumped out of the way, and they crashed into each other. It was glorious.
