I've known a few people who worked in fast food who would do that but never actually worked with someone who would mess with food. It usually just boiled down to shit talking in the end of the day for us as well.

I work in food service and I've never done it or seen someone do it, either. No one I've worked with is dumb enough to risk their jobs over a rude customer. It's just not worth it.

Completely agree. I’ve worked in fast food and had to deal with shitty customers, and never once have I fucked with what they ordered. On the other side (even before I worked in fast food), I was never rude to employees either, regardless of how shitty my day was. There is no excuse for any of this immaturity from either side, and going after both is the best way to eliminate these problems, rather than just heaping the blame on one side in particular.
