@@owen7396neither. I figure he starts behind them and rotates in at safety/nickel then would assume a starting role with injury to someone else. Good place to start for him and us
After watching Branch and Ringo without a question Branch is the fit for Seattle. Good run stopper, better in coverage (isn't pass interfering on every play like Ringo) I wish he would have come away with a few more of those but add him to Woolen and Bryant. That's a nice 3 man cornerback tram right there. Branch could switch to S but I see Neal and Diggs being the guys at least for next year. I see them moving on from Adams.
@@DanlowMusic I think they give Jamal another year, if he doesn’t stay healthy or isn’t the same they move on probably. Branch is a phenomenal fit, good tackler, do it all guy to mix in at DB. Agreed
Exactly my thoughts get this guy in the safety room yesterday. He’s smart/ instinctive and if he plays for Saban and stayed all his years he’s a coachable guy with work ethic, no transfer rumors or drama around him at all.
If hes in the second or under the Raiders should take a flyer on him. Id like to see him be used as a S/LB kinda like Mark Barron. Especially in Grahams 4-2-5 defense.
Branch has insane potential, he’s a very good tackler, has a great sense for run stopping, extremely quick, very good on the blitz, and has a pretty good feel for pass coverage. I can see him being a star in the nfl
Late 20s type of player IMO. I don’t see special but very good. In comparison, Kyle Hamilton last year had wow plays and was the 14th pick, I don’t think Branch has that upside but will be a steady player.
Hope so. Imagine we cut or trade Diggs and get a healthy Adams back. Branch at FS, Adams at SS. Woolen outside, Bryant in the slot. Teams will literally be scared to pass.
I tell you what Saban better scoop up a legitimate Corner in the transfer portal and not depend on one of these freshmen coming in to be a starter alongside Kool-Aid you know LSU is scooping up all the great transfer portal defensive backs but there's one from Georgia who's in the portal Jahiem Singletary and he would be a perfect match opposite Kool-Aid and you also have Kendrick Breedlove from Old Miss who is another option I mean I know it was stupid for Eli Rick's to go into the draft he had no business doing it but it is what it is we need to go after somebody who's had legitimate playing time in the SEC and not go through an experience like we did with terrion Arnold
With the 30th pick in the 2023 NFL draft, the Buffalo Bills select, Brian Branch, The University of Alabama. “Yea know booger, this guy is going to be a star, great tackler and when he gets the green light to blitz, expect him to make a difference, he will be fun to watch in a couple of years.”
I think what makes this highlight film look great is Alabamas front 7 allows branch so make majority of these plays. If Alabama had a lackluster front I feel like a lot of blocks would get to branches level thus making him pretty average.
Kinda. Eric had more weight to him which you like to see Branch add. Also, this kid played at every secondary position for Bama, Eric didn’t move around this much you couldn’t split him out wide vs WRs.
@@tonyborges-silva6951 I kinda don’t care 🤷🏻♂️. He picked off Leonard Fournette, very cool. There’s a reason he’s a 5th rounder. The Lions game planned around stopping Sauce by NOT throwing to him.
@@Jake22419 we need a outside corner. Branch is more of a safety hybrid. We already got Kevin and Amani at that position. I feel like ricks can be what Caleb was supposed to be.
@@jodygetbuckets5085 branch covered receivers a lot. Titans just need dawgs and this guy would erase a part of the field you put him on. I’ve watched lot of ricks he’s more of development but has the physical tools
