@@JTConlon407 who cares that's the players fault for feeling sensitive about one guy while you have the whole entire fan base who can get worser than one guy
My thoughts exactly! What you've been through in life has nothing to do with your expectations and game play! If life was that hard, you should be playing at a pro bowl level to avoid going back to the slums ever again.
How the fuck do you support a clown 🤡 like this! Honestly?! He brings people down! Talks shit. Kittle Debo Aiuk armstead of all said it! Boycott this douche bag
I love Griese’s hire. Having played the game as an NFL QB, he’ll be able to relate to his players really well. I get the sense that he’s very detail oriented and able to break down playing the position down to the “nuts and bolts.” A huge upgrade at QB coach.
@@roemellobell a lot of times, players that weren’t great make great coaches. They can explain the process breakdowns in greater detail. Jim Harbaugh is a great example.
I remember in the 70's watching Bob Griese. Brian reminds me of him. I was a niner fan back then. But the Dolphines where heck of a team. That no name defence.
I liked Griese when he was playing, well see what he can do with Lance. Trey has never been challenged like this and it shows he's making do with some habits that are hard to overcome but with Griese he'll point them out if needed.
Keep it up Grant, it cant always be sunshine and rainbows you need people calling out the team/players somtimes holding them to a higher standard. I think Grant and the fans all want the same thing at the end a team that plays the best it can and making chioces best for the team.
There’s a difference between holding the players to a high standard and being a slimy, click-baity piece of garbage that doesn’t care about the team or its players
I’m glad you doubted Javon. I love the fire you lit in him to prove you wrong I seen it in his eyes. He doesn’t know how important that is as a player and competitor we sometimes need it to fuel. You need to send a message to the 49ers wether it’s your truth as usual or it being apologetic because you may be misunderstood in some regards. There i feel what Kinlaw is coming from as well however words shouldn’t do much your actions could speak for you simple. Whatever you do apologize or keep burning bridges lmao stand on it like a man should.
Listening to him makes me think he's a great position coach for Lance. Plus, Kyle has had a great lineage of coaching hires since he's been here. I trust Griese hire.
So, like anyone who watched this, I can't help but be impressed with the man...or at least the man presented by Brain. I don't quite get the hire though. Wouldn't you want to hire someone much more familiar with modern, bleeding edge quarterbacking? Brian strikes me as an old school guy, & that's certainly how he played ball. To me, the modern schemes & philosophies are the important part at this level, but maybe they're so concerned about Trey that they felt they had to hire someone who could teach him the base level fundamentals, but if that's the case....yikes.
Am neither for/against the Griese hire. However, he seems to think that his job is more that of a career counselor/mentor rather than a QB coach. Not making me feel any more comfortable.
But that’s literally what an NFL QB coach is. They are more counselor than QB mechanics gurus. They are there to get the QBs on the roster ready to play each Sunday, not to pin point kinesiology advancements to passing. That kind of stuff is concentrated for the off season, QB coaches concentration is on the readiness of the player, on their mental state, etc.
This young quarterback is WAY TOO IMPORTANT to be matched with a new coach who "just wants to see if he will be any good at coaching" I thought it was a horrible before I heard why he took the job. Now, I'm sure of it!!!! Horrible answers..zero passion!! Twice he was asked if he was excited to coach Trey Lance, but he is clueless...
I agree to a degree, though it's not about passion for me, it's about how divorced Brian is from the modern game & modern quarterbacking....which is very little like quarterbacking was 15 years ago, even 10 years ago. To me, get a talented coach who's more plugged in...I agree, you hire a new-to-coaching coach for Trey freaking Lance??!!!??
@@scottsherman5262 I was happy to see that Griese was actually contributing to Lances' progress on a cerebral level rather than trying to teach Lance based on his limited QB knowledge. Griese is basically a personal motivation coach for Lance, which basically makes him another mentor.
