ABKCO did it again... they removed the original audio of this video LOL they are desperately trying to get more money legally-stealing the work of third parties, burn in hell Allen you deserve it, of course your money won't help you there
Background music is Garrick Davis performing GD Blues as that the only free-royalty song I found in the RU-vid data base that honors Brian (a little)

Brian was the strongest musician in the group. He had alot of personal problems, though; and that's why the group couldn't let him be the leader. With him, they were a truly great blues guitar band, as well as being a very versatile pop group. He was onto the diversity of instrumentation trip with Brian Wilson, Donovan, etc... and the Stones really have never been as good as before he left.
@maribeljensen6257

He sat around the studio on acid half the time when the Stones needed him to contribute. The Stones never lost a beat decades after he was gone. Like a mafia thug he chose his fate and destiny. He should have been canned 2 years earlier. Maybe he could have found God then when God could still be found.

A very fine book. Despite his flaws, Brian was a very gifted musician. Jimi repaid his kindness when Brian fell on hard times by placing him in hotels and apartments to live when he was ill or being pursued by the authorities.

casslac1981 Manipulated? Sure. Firstly, Mick and Keith were the ones who wrote their songs and that’s the very reason they became world famous. Had they continued Brian’s whises, they had stayed as a blues cover band. Would that have made them what they became? Surely not. “User” or not, Jagger and Richards remains the sole reason for bringing them up next to The Beatles. And by the way, if they ‘manipulated’ Jones, then it was his own fault with his horrible personality. He took drugs to no good end, insisted on staying jealous of the writers and beat up Anita Pallenberg, so she couldn’t be with him. Keith never ‘stole’ her. Brian himself pushed her away. So sure, naturally they should just forgive him, right? They obviously to this day, think very negatively about him. Still, people think the band should just ‘forgive’ him and make their shows as tributes to him.

Even given the ability of the Jagger/Richard's songwriting talent, the whole sound became rather redundant after Jone's influence was gone. Jones was the music, everything else simply backup. The first group using sitar, believe it or not. were the Yardbirds in an unlreased version of "Heart Full of Soul", but they didn't release it so the first released song with sitar was "Norwegian Wood" by The Beatles

@@gliedo None of the Yardbirds played it. They had a session player to play it and didn't like the way he played it so Jeff Beck mimicked the sound of the sitar. None of the Yardbirds knew how to play a sitar. Next?

Ophelia Shrub Neither George or Brian became masters of the sitar. It takes years to play like Ravi Shankar. They just utilised for the songs that required it.

I read that Keith did not like Brian mainly out of jealousy because he was a better musician I just wonder when was the last time the surviving members went to go visit his grave. RIP Brian we all know you were the better stone the founder of the group and the one who named The Group the Rolling Stones

Jordan the stones autobiographies confirm this. Keith had to learn to play Brian’s parts and his own parts when touring as Brian just didn’t show up for the gigs. When he was around he was an incredibly talented multi instrumentalist

It is so perfectly fitting that Winnie the Pooh was written in the last home that Brian Jones lived in. The stars in the sky became aligned when Brian lived there. Pooh called him to come home because he missed Brian.

I wish I could get excited about Brian Jones. Despite all of his so called talent, it can be argued very easily that he was just brit imitating his love of American blues. He basically played rythym guitar like millions of other guys between 12-30 and had the ability to pick up other instruments and play them on a basic level. The rest is just teeny bopper hype from the 60's and the nostalgia created around the popularity of the Stones as bad boys of the 60's.
