The Rolling Stones: Brian Jones and The Stones
Brian Jones, the founding member and original leader of The Rolling Stones, had several romantic relationships throughout his life. Brian age 16 worked “The Door” at Filby’s Jazz Club and met his first known girlfriend was a woman named “Valerie Corbett”. Brian and Valerie both age 16, they were together during his teenage years, before Jones became famous with The Rolling Stones. Jones had a complex personal life and was involved in various relationships, but Valerie Corbett is often mentioned as one of his early girlfriends.
Jones's early romantic encounters were often fleeting and marked by his growing fame and burgeoning lifestyle. In 1960, he met Pat Andrews, a young woman from Cheltenham, England. Their relationship was intense and passionate, resulting in the birth of their son Julian in October 1961. However, Jones's increasing involvement with the Rolling Stones and his penchant for partying took a toll on their relationship, and they eventually parted ways.
