This Is The Brian May Band Performing Live At The Brixton Academy 1993 Great Quality And What A Show Brian Put On A Dazzling Performance Im So Glad This Was Filmed Hope You Enjoy This As Much As I Did.
Me too... Check this one out... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T3qqRZhWzDI.html I think we forgot that Queen the band, had 4 singers in it.
t120sx you missed it ( no offense meant ) because you always thought Freddie is the voice. Now that Brian is singing Nd showing his many talents, we kinda think we missed it when it is ALL there in front of US, incLuding ME
Brian became his real self out of Queen in the fact he could really express himself, both vocally and play his guitar how he wanted to without restrictions.
Bri just slayed this song! Billboard ranked Brian May The #2 best guitarists of all time, Rolling Stone brought him in at #26, all time guitarists. You tell me which one you think fits...
Will the real Brian step forward 🔥🔥🔥Whoah! Great to see Brian bringing the full energy of his song to life. While Queen was great I say it was always bit of a compromise musically especially Hot Space. This hard-driving Rock style seems to be where Brian’s musical heart and passion truly lies. Fantastic version!
Brian May sings like a combination of Lou Gramm and Paul Rodgers! This band kicks ass too. How did I miss this???! Great performances, the vocals sound amazing.
This is a glimpse of what might have been if Freddie Mercury never existed. This is a Super Band! Brian on lead guitar/vocals, Cozy Powell (Rainbow, Whitesnake, Black Sabbath/Drums, Neil Murray (Whitesnake, Black Sabbath)/Bass, Spike Edney (Queen)/Keyboards, Jamie Moses/Guitar. Brian is no Freddie but he brings a style of his own.
@Kate The Poodle The band was originally formed in October 1991 for May's performance at Guitar Legends guitar festival in Seville, Spain while Freddie was still alive. He wanted to promote his new solo album. Yes, they played some Queen songs in a more, "Rock" style, but it was not a "tribute" band. It was more of a "Break out" of his own style that was limited in Queen. The Tribute band came with "Queen + Paul Rodgers and now with Adam Lambert.
Gutted to have also missed this superb band when it toured, excellent gig superb choice of musicians and the backing singers can certainly belt out a tune.
I have alot of Favorite Guitar Players and Guitar Brands. But my Favorite Guitar Player is Brian May playing his Red Special! No one can Replace Him Nor His Guitar in my Book!
Insanely great lineup 💥💥💥💥💥. Saw them here in Argentina in 1992. Terrific!!! In case you don't know Cozy was one 8f the first (if not the first) to play double bass drums, by the time he was hired by Jeff Beck at once.
Queen have done 3 good songs and this is probably their best. Their other songs are good to vacuum the house to in drag. You could go down the Pub on a Tuesday and stumble on a much better Band than Queen. The reason that I don't listen to the radio anymore is because radio plays other people's bad taste. The other day I was playing my Spotify when I realised that I liked every song on it. Then I realised it was because somebody with excellent taste programmed the music.....ME.
WAY TOO AWESOME!!! I saw Brian open for Guns n Roses in Austin, TX in '91. He opened with this great song! The closest we can ever come to seeing him do this! Brian is AWESOME!!!
Just seeing this in 2021, wow what a band, the girls are hot, Cozy Powell makes Roger Taylor sound like an average drummer, and Brian is on top form...
Brilliant 😀 I was at this gig exactly thirty years ago tonight. I hope he remasters this like he has done with his solo catalogue and give us the complete show remastered and unedited on both CD and DVD (he's done all his solo catalogue now apart from this so he's got no excuse now).
Saw Brian and his band this same year at The Palace in Hollywood, CA. Great Show. Earlier that same day around 2 pm or so, knocked on Brian's front door.. his ex-wife and 2 of his kids answered and said he wasn't home. I wonder if 27 years later he still owns that house?!?!?
@@sterlinggenzer362 ...to challenge him in pinball....why else? You can see the pinball machine right there they the window in what I guess is the family room....its been nearly 30 Yeats ago so don't ask me who was featured on the machine or i could of answered this way: why did I knock on the door? To see if he needed his lawn mowed.; to intrude on his personal family life; to ask him for backstage passes for that nights show; to ask him if he could feed us!! March of Dimes; ok anyone else want to chime in (we could have a little fun with it)
Fino, creativo, buen arreglador, buen gusto musical, riff y solos estéticamente perfectos sin una nota de más ni una de menos, preciso, además de buena gente, osea, las tiene todas
Well as Brian said, in Queen they had their singer, Freddie. Roger Taylor had his solo band (The Cross) before Freddie died. Brian waited to go solovafter Freddie passed, I don't know what would have happened with Brian's solo career if Freddie had not passed away. I love Brian's voice and all of his solo work. He wrote the music score for the movie Furia, which is a French movie from some number of years ago, that is where the song I dream of thee came from, as well as Pinocchio, some good songs from that. Brian has a beautiful voice. And a man of many, many talents.
Tous les amateurs de rock ont compris que Brian May chauffe davantage avec son groupe (super) qu'avec Queen. Il est devenu un vrai rocker, le meilleur.
I saw that tour, what an amazing band Brian May had with Neil Murray on bass and Cozy Powell on drums. What were the names of the two beautiful blond back up singers? They were amazing!
Amava a May Band, mas esses backing vocals caipiras e o excesso de teclado (am algumas músicas) tiravam o 'peso' das músicas. Por outro lado, Cozy Powell era extraordinário.
