The 165 minute lead is actually a misleading stat that leads people to believe that the Lakers played better the majority of time. It's really just saying that the Lakers gets out in front early. If you look at the points differential by quarters, then you'd see it's really more even with the Denver actually having the edge both in differentials and number of quarters won.

It would create a super cool narrative for 1-3 seasons and fun to watch. I'm sure the Suns would be happy to move off KD and get some picks and younger talent. Lebron and Steph are not gonna win anything separately on those teams, they don't have enough time to build a championship team. I never hear anyone complain about the challenge system in football. That wasn't the right time to challenge the play and lose the timeout.
