Notice that Brianna's argument against 'cancel culture' tactics isn't that such behavior is wrong. Wu's argument is such behavior is counter productive. If Wu's side held sufficient societal power, Brianna would be just fine -- and would happily engage in -- the tactics Wu now deplores.

i find it hard to accept this hardcore need to right the wrongs of racial injustice. Stating that white supremacy is the main issue black people face is dishonest and frankly a lie. White supremacy would be a belief that your white blood is superior to other people just because the color of their skin. I am very white and know many white people, I have never heard white people claim they have a supremacy belief. Bad taste stereotypes were more common 10-20 years ago but those are jokes not a belief to erase minorities or any ideology of supremacy. In 2020 it was stated that white supremacy was the #1 threat to black Americans, yet as a white, have never met anyone who shared supremacist beliefs. I am 35, I was not raised in segregated times and from NJ, this could be different in different places but I live in Florida now that is actually very diverse and have still yet to meet a supremacist threatening black lives.

I find it interesting that Brianna talks about "moralizing" arguments as if only facts are important. Facts are important, but not every argument always involves straight facts, some are ethical and moral. As Brianna proved, everyone takes a moral stance at some point, like she did with racial justice, because that ironically, is not supported by facts.
This has been the tact from these advocate groups for awhile now. They have learned that being vocal about the issue draws attention and pushback from critics. So they have changed their approach where it's about enacting these policies as stealthily as possible. Which in my opinion is far more dangerous and speaks to their dubious and nefarious intent. They don't want anyone else to have a say. Specifically those that disagree with gender ideology. This will always be an issue of objective truth and reality vs feelings. It doesn't matter if people like Wu disagree with the tact that vocal activists are taking because in the end they are promoting the same nonsense of gender ideology. Feel to believe to identify however you wish. But then don't turn around and proclaim because you feel this way others should in turn give that feeling weight and deference. So much so that they should in many respects weigh and treat you as something you objectively are not.

wow... lol... its actually not a completely protected class at the federal level. Approx only half of the states provide some unstandardized protections. But in states like Alabama or Idaho or Tennessee and some others, you can discriminate against a trans person for housing, public accommodations, and healthcare. For a country that esteems itself as being free and equal, it seem right. This lack of protection doesn't seem right but at the same time outspoken and pushy transactivists are annoying.
Finally! You have Brianna on! Please continue to have more honest people like her. If progressives (like Jess) had not drawn so many hard lines people would be so much more accepting of Trans care. I am also bi like Jess (maybe is?) and it’s been horrible to witness the rejection of trans acceptance thanks to the people that clearly have other issues that aren’t gender dysphoria and activists that just want to “win” over some ludicrous morality game. I hope Brianna inspires more people to speak up.
