Just watched these 3 videos again. What an amazing set up you created that day. Hard work with some fun thrown in. I loved the way you knocked the hard light out.The images are fantastic.Well done J.L. and the crew.
Since watching your videos I've started wearing a hat and everyone reckons my shots are getting better.........videos or hats I'm not sure but something's working !
I know it's suppose to be about the gear. but what makes this shots work is his understanding of light and great eye for composition and art. sorry Sony, he could shoot all these shots with any top level camera from any brand.
You're using Cactus V6 v2, right? Could you show us if it works (even without hss) with Cactus V6 v1. I have a couple around and i want to know if it is compatible. Thanks, great work.

Jason Lanier my eye is drawn most to the brightest part, the big white out of focus blob in the background. Somehow I'm skeptical that this is what you were shooting for.
I will sometimes shoot with Canon lenses only because I like to explore what's out there and possible, not because Sony lenses aren't spectacular. I have no doubt that Sony will continue to release more lenses and in particular more less expensive lenses in the coming year.
Jason Lanier hope they do because it's really lacking variety would be nice to replace all my nikon glass with Sony Zeiss but they need a few more e mount lenses yet
AuzzieMon5ter I'm a little new to Sony ,but is their a big difference between Zeiss lens and a regular Sony lens? what is the difference besides the huge price tag?
RJM 1982 Zeiss are a really well known optics company there products are Top notch and they do gun scopes. Sony and Zeiss have a good relationship thus why Zeiss are licensed to do some of Sony's lenses. there more expensive but generally of highest quality Sony lenses are done through there own r&d and not manufactured by zeiss
