Yes so different to the daughter who I felt was a little jealous of the fact her mum looked younger than she did. “Cheap” “Disgusting” are vicious words I’d expect from a sullen teenager.

If I thought my best friend was wearing something I thought was disgusting looking, I'd state it plainly. With other friends I'd tip toe around it by saying it's not you or some other light critique like the other woman in this video did. It's all about the personality of the person you're talking to and the relationship you have with them. We don't know if the mum is the type of person who takes offense to a straight criticism or not. There are people who do and people who don't. If there was zero context and you heard me talking to my best friend you might conclude I'm the biggest bitch in the world despite the fact that she actually prefers my brutal honesty. And I'm not one of those people who says I'm just being honest as an excuse to be an asshole, I'm only brutally honest with her because I know for a fact it doesn't offend her and with everyone else I avoid any harsh criticism. And let's not forget this is highly edited TV we are talking about. There almost always a villain in these shows as it makes for good TV. I wouldn't be surprised if the edited the nice comments she made about the last dress. I doubt they took her aside to talk about dress 1 and 2 but not 3. My guess is that the footage of her talking about dress 3 didn't fit villain narrative so they edited it out. Reminder- reality TV isn't real.

i really don’t think that she’s jealous, she looked so happy for her mother once she found her dress, and all of her comments were obviously about the dress, never about her body. she could’ve been more tactful, that’s for sure, but she was the one to make the suggestion that absolutely made her mother glow, and looking so happy for her once she had it on

I think she's just critical and blunt. I don't think she wants to hurt her mums feelings she wants her to look her best. And no she did not look good in those dresses. She looked wonderful in what she chose

The daughter said nothing about that. It was the mom herself who said twice she didn't want to look like she was trying to look 25 and wanted to feel like a fabulous older bride.
