Sinead Scully knows fall in love with a vintage beaded gown but is it bridal enough for her wedding day? Catch Say Yes to the Dress on TLC - Sky 133, Virgin 162, BT TV 323
Goodness her fathers Irish accent is sooooo THICK, when they asked him what he thought all I understood was “ohhh, hehwhdlcubsksbrksk lemon toot” .... 😳
I would have liked to have seen the larger size on her. This one broke so much at the waist that it made her look terrible. It didn't seem to suit her, but then we don't know her so that's hard to determine.
Yes he was. I noticed though that the mother and father sat at opposite ends of the entourage seating. I wonder if that was on purpose, or just happened by chance...
The lady in the blue is such a good friend. She really took into account how her friend felt and also watch closely to how she reacted in the dress. Also, the dress is so lovely, definitely looked more bridal the second time she came out in it!
I love so much how decent families can read the body language and spirit of their bride. People who are in tune will put their own opinions aside once they realize their bride is happy. What a beautiful experience for her
I don't think it was the bride who made Rachel change her mind, it was the not so subtle hint from her mum: "It's lovely Rachel, look" translates as "please shut up Rachel, she likes the dress". To her credit she 'got it' and said "after looking at it again I do prefer this one".
I’ve watched a number of the SYTTD Ireland, and I must say, with apologies to the UK shows, that the quality of the gowns seems so much nicer, and, because of that, the brides, all shapes and size, look much prettier to me. I dislike the illusion dresses, and most of the UK dresses have wrinkly flesh-colored illusion either all over or at the top. Plus the UK dresses look cheaper, even though they’re sometimes even pricier. The brides on the Ireland series have all looked really beautiful, no sleeze.
That's quite true 👍 I have noticed that immediately, the quality and design truly makes a difference in a way that super fancy dresses might sometimes look too much to be worn, that's kinda strange but absolutely noticeable. Thank you for pointing that out, Love from Jordan ❤️
I think Gok, Lancashire has better dresses - more true range in style. He is the dream for any person having to try on dresses. Especially when they loathe/fear the experience. The entourage in Ireland seems much kinder and supportive.
The “bridal look” is marketing brainwashing - white, poofy, lacy, princess with a license to act like a jerk in the pursuit of a “perfect” wedding. It’s so archaic.Women aren’t like that. We busy.
She's a more mature bride. The frilly, froo-froo dresses of a 20 year old bride aren't for her. This gown is regal and stunning and reflects her preferences much more. It's just what she wanted.
I have watched so any of these videos I have lost count. To me, that vintage look dress is the MOST BEAUTIFL wedding dress I have ever seen. She looked stunning !!!
I assume the step dad doesn’t like her, and it’s affected her relationship with her mum. Wild speculation, yes, but this is standard when parents remarry. Existing kids become unwanted baggage.
I loved that dress she had picked, it was amazing. A dress is as bridal as you want it to be! Her figure looked fantastic, she didn’t need to have anything hanging out to look sexy!!
Considering that woman making that statement was wearing a necklace made of what looked like Skittles candies glued together, she isn't exactly a fashionista, that's for certain!
I think every single wedding dress shop around the world MUST IMPORT WEDDING DRESS FROM IRELAND. Every single dress in say yes to dress ireland very gorgeos beautiful
Perhaps it's because I'm not from the UK or Ireland that I'm not so keen on the brides choices. But I love watching it anyway just because the dignity the Irish do show. Lovely people,!
I don’t think it’s a second wedding though. I think her and her daughter’s father are just finally getting married. Because she said her parents were wondering if she ever were going to get married
Only a few people can rock this type of gown - you need to be tall for starters. Absolutely LOVE this gown on her. Seems to totally suit her personality and SO Glam ! I'd kill to be able to wear something vintage like this. Dahhling....you look Mahhvelous!!
I love it ❣️ I also love her Da - he reminds me of my own Da who passed away in '97 and whom I miss so very much. All the best to the happy couple - may their joys be many and their troubles be few!
