"A lot more fat friendly." It breaks my heart to hear this from such a beautiful young person. I’m so happy that she’s learning to love herself. I can empathize. I used to weigh almost 300lbs. It used to shock folks when I made "fat jokes." I felt like might as well tackle that elephant in the room: me. But I had to learn to love myself before I could tackle my unhealthy weight. And it was unhealthy-literally killing me from heart disease. But ridicule, self-ridicule not a starting point for change. She’s a beautiful young lady, and I wish her well.

I wished the smaller sized brides shows where also this positive and supporting. Instead of the nasty drama and toxic behaviours they show on thos episodes. I enjoy this much much then them even though i am small now, because I know how they feel as I was once bmi 53. I love seeing them finding their perfect dress and feeling beautiful. ❤ I married once but and the justice office and wore everyday sweater and pants because my ex husband didn’t want to get married but agreeed to a justice marriage so i wouldn’t leave him. No dress and no wedding or anything, instead I sit and watch these beautiful ladies getting their dream..I am so happy for them ❤

Jo & Al have both lost weight, which is what they should be advising their brides to do. Being overweight is unhealthy, most large people hide their sadness with denial.

You can be body positive as much as you want but being fat is a choice. So if you choose to stuff your face then might as well accept the effect. She can deal with her being fat but cannot deal with how other ppl view her as being fat.
