It is one thing to "look" at dresses before being proposed too and maybe try a few on as well, but to go as far as to apply for this show, bring family and friends especially people on his side, pay regular price for a dress and just not take a nice one at a liquidation price at a bridal store closing to hold for later in order to save money on a wedding, and with no ring is like WTF...

She bought 27 dresses and then sold them on eBay...WHAAAAAT??? Strange that the boyfriend's parents were at the appointment and he hadn't yet proposed. Even if the proposal was scripted (comments below), I'm relieved and glad that he did it before the appointment started.

I have a friend who had their whole wedding planned & her dress bought before he actually proposed. He was active in the wedding planning but he actually hadn’t asked yet. He wanted to propose on a certain date that was special for them. So, the first bride seems crazy but that may have been the case here especially since his parents were there. However, she seems like a crazy nightmare.

The day I bought my dress with my mom while on vacation (we didn’t go out of town to dress shop, we just decided to go on a whim), my husband was asking my dad for my hand in marriage, so my mom was in on it and knew what was going on back home. Idk Irene’s full story, but sometimes I think dress shopping before an official proposal might be plausible

I knew a girl like this. I was supposed to be one of her bridesmaids, but her boyfriend hadn't even proposed yet. I said yes to being her bridesmaid in the future and she turned into a complete bridezilla... she wanted to get her dress and wanted all of us who were supposed to be her bridesmaids to get the dresses she picked out for us and fitted within a few months... even though he hadn't even proposed yet and they had been fighting about engagement and everything anyway... at the end of it I lost my temper, told her I wasn't going to be her bridesmaid if she was going to act that way, and we didn't talk for a very long time. It was a year later when he finally proposed to her (they are still married, but damn). I wasn't the only person to back out of being her bridesmaid either. Don't be freaking crazy, people.
