And this is why Jo and Al are my favourite. They always hype the brides up and make them feel beautiful and they always do it within the budget unless the bride is willing to go up a little further. They are some of the most motivating and uplifting people ever

She is sooooooooo beautiful!! I hate society sometimes for putting so much pressure on women especially to look a certain way, adhere to a certain body or look. It's just that so much negativity and toxicity flows into our lives because of such unrealistic expectations/expected beauty standards. It is exhausting and takes away from the time that we could actually be happy

This reminds me so much of my own wedding. I was so nervous, I had to stop on the way to the venue and go into a public washroom to be sick! I was late to my own wedding. But I got there in the end, and we've been happily married for many years now.

Dear Jo and Al, I love your show. I love how you treat each bride as the precious person that she is. I am 75 yo, three marriages and each time I let the man have his way… no wedding, no church… no guests… no celebration. As they told me they were not comfortable with all that! How mistaken and needy. I was wanting to be loved, to be cherished and part of a partner relationship that I lost all sight of myself. I rejoice in each bride you encourage to be herself and understand how truly beautiful she is and totally worthy to be loved and respected. Men need to understand we women have a primordial need to be that princess, to be worthy and to have or dreams of at least one day to have a dream become real and a wonderful memory to hold in our hearts as we age and not become like me…a pleaser that has had her dreams shredded three times. Continue to bolster their self esteem, to see themselves as worthy, to be the most beautiful they are.
