To be honest she should have already known the price of the gown at thr other store before going into Kleinfelds. Any bride who is prepared would know prices before going to another boutique. Especially since she was adamant about trying on the same gown at a different appointment.

I don't blame the first bride for being thrifty. She probably should've priced the dress at the first place when she tried it on, but you do what you have to do. The second bride looked beautiful in every dress, but the last one was definitely the winner. It was beautiful. Made her look very tall and statuesque.

Geez, Randy. Just because your price for the dress is half her budget doesn't mean she wants to spend more for it at your place than at another. Props to her for trying to save money.

You can price shop all you want.. but don't be rude calling from the fitting room while you're still in it. Having zero consideration for Sarah and the staff who searched up and down for it. She knew it was $2,300 before she put it on. Tacky.

That first bride is pretty on the outside, but not on the inside. It was tacky and rude for her to use the time and energy of the consultants at Kleinfeld if she was still thinking of buying the dress elsewhere. Especially since she tried to be sneaky about it by making the consultants scour the store for the dress she knew she wanted and then making some excuse so she could be alone in the dressing room to call the store where she had originally tried on that first dress. If she had been honest from the very beginning, this would have been a better experience for everyone.

The first bride: That’s not thrifty, it’s tacky to call the other store to see if you can get it cheaper, especially because the dress is less than half her budget. There is nothing kind, sweet, warm or even just friendly about her.

When they spend time searching the store for an specific dress I wonder: don’t they have like a logistic system where they know based on the reference number where is it stored? I don’t know, maybe it’s all staged and it’s just to give it some mystery…

It's tacky to call the other store from Kleinfeld's dressing room. And she loved that dress so much last week that she doesn't remember how much it was? Seems more like she was hoping that Kleinfeld's would drop the price so she would pick their dress.

If youre CHEAP , just tell them a lower limit . Dont insult Randy or his stafff , by going Walmart there.

A future bride comes in with a picture and a name of the designer, loves a particular dress and the associate is struggling to find it. Kleinfelds stock must be so disorganized that the associate can't find a particular dress? I think Kleinfelds needs a professional organizer

Rude to expect the salon to cater to all your wants and needs, to do all the work and then to try and get it cheaper at another salon. She should have done the pricing beforehand.

She has the right to find a cheaper price, for goodness sake!!! AND she will feel much better saying yes knowing that she wasn't throwing away money needlessly!!

I don't see how the staged calling of the other store was that big a deal. (And yes, it was staged.) Just because the dress was under budget I'd still want to save a few more dollars if possible. That being said, I would have noted the price with the picture of the dress at the same time, seeing as she's looking for something similar. Be prepared for price shopping. I'd even ask "Hey, I love your dress. This place will give me $$$ off, can you give me a better deal? Sometimes the mark ups are so high that they have no problem with giving a better price.

Aren't retail prices set by the manufacturers? It wasn't clear if Kleinfeld was less expensive than the other salon, or if the price was the same. Either way, the bride shouldn't have called the other salon while being filmed at Kleinfeld. That was rude, as was the way she was evading Randy's questions because she knew she was going to sneak back into the fitting room and call the other salon. Not classy at all.

Its so disingenuous to go to a full service salon, have them spend so much time with you in consultation and fitting, and not buy the dress from them in the end. If you want to price shop, then go to a salon which has less service and less inventory. I'm all for price shopping, but I would never take advantage of a consultant in this manner: its very low brow...and if you can afford $5,000 for a dress, you definitely should know better.

It’s SO tacky to take advantage of a consultant busting her ass for you and then, once you’ve found the dress, going phone shopping for the same one. The consultant worked SO HARD for her and deserves that commission!!! I worked at Macy’s on commission and sold party gowns. People would get the very best attention from me and find the perfect gown, buy it and then return it after the weekend party- stained armpits, makeup on the bust and the commission came right back out of my paycheck!

I don’t get why brides come in and then say they want a dress they already tried on from a different store and loved. So why didn’t they just get that dress in the first place. They end up just getting the dress they already wanted😭😂

Nothing wrong with shopping for a better price… even when you’re at a different store (some places will match the price of the competition to get the sale… so )

Why look for the same dress at another store?

I can often tell in the comments those who don't shop. She got the quote from the other store but she was trying to get the other store to compete and give a lower price than Klein. Some stores will do comparable pricing. Lower their price to be under Klein's.
