Nichola is conscious of her colostomy bag showing through her dress. Will she be able to find a tight fitted dress that also hides her colostomy bag? Catch Say Yes to the Dress on TLC - Sky 140, Virgin 162, BT TV 323
The fact that her daughter wanted her mom in a princess style dress because she knew showing her bag makes her uncomfortable is the most adorable thing
omg I know when I realized she was pushing the ball gown because she was trying so hard to take care of her comfort levels...ugh i'm not crying, you're crying!
When you compare to so many moms insisting on a style they love amd disregarding any interest or benefit of the bride... This is aven more heartwarming
Definitely one of the prettiest brides I've seen on this show. She looks so freaking young and gorgeous. And her kids are so well mannered. Momma did a great job!
Wow. She's so gorgeous. Not sure if it's the haircut, the accent, the personality, or just the whole package, but there's something about her that is next level beautiful.
As someone who has bladder disease and is 26, considering an ostomy, this representation is absolutely beautiful, just like the bride and her gorgeous family.
My Mom had an ilieostomy and my Aunt had a Urostomy. I took care of my Mom and learned a lot about ostomies. I wish you the best of luck if you have to go this route. You will have to drink constantly in order to stay out of the hospital with dehydration.
I actually started crying when her daughter said she only suggested the princess gown because she wanted her mom to feel comfortable with the colostomy bag...so so sweet!!
As a hairstylist, I am in LOVE with her hair! The clean white blonde, the short cut, and the way she styled & wore it... just everything about it suits her skin and face shape really well. Of course though, none of that would matter if she didn't rock it...plus, I think it's really just her inner beauty shining through. There's been a lot of models or model-like brides on this show... but I can honestly say she is the most beautiful bride I've seen, and she picked the dress that just made it all come together
Yes, she is totally rocking that haircut and color! It is not easy to pull off a white blonde cropped haircut, but she looks incredible and it suits her so well. I have super long hair and I would love to be able to wear a really short style, but I don't think it would be flattering
Yes pretty lady, you know we come in different shapes, God is just so creative and diverse! For that ladies size an 18 would have been big for her, just like a 4 would have been too small for her. It's all about the bride being able to see what accentuates her body. That means you would have rrrocked the size 18 in that dress! 💖💖💖
Right.. I thought it was a tad rude that he said that 😬.. I mean he could have said “this it too big of a size but we have one in a different color that will fit you much better if you’d like to try it? “ especially when these things are on tv and everyone watches this and everyone is different sizes..
I've seen episodes where they go way under budget, it all depends on what style and how much bling the bride want. And when the budget is 2000, and the dress is 2024, that is exactly the budget. I don't really think that's "going over budget".
@@sophieamalie7635 I am not saying that they don't go under the budget at all.. But the staffs are way too pushy when it comes to the budget.. They always try their best to convince the bride to increase the budget.. Or put them in dresses that are over the budget.. They don't do it in US or any other ver.. Higher price doesn't mean more bling.. I have seen a lot of beautiful dresses for very low prices on US version
This is my favourite one because the bride is beautiful and well behaved and so are the panel she brought. They all have a good connection and even though they had a bit of a different opinion, the bride's happiness came on top!!! This is what we need!!!
“I think you look beautiful but I know it’s not for you and I’m happy when you’re happy.” Literally how EVERY entourage member SHOULD be during these appointments when their pick gets passed over.
You will! Ostomates can wear anything and do anything they want! 😊 Let her know about ostomysecrets.com -- an awesome website for covers, swimwear, etc that really help with body image confidence. (Former ostomate myself.)
Can I just say her 2 daughters are the sweetest most beautifully brought up caring girls.... No rudeness or anything, her sister is extremely genuine and very sweet as well. She's got an amazing support system. And I just wish her all the happiness in the world... She deserves it!♥️
I just have to say that I have no problem admiring another woman’s beauty & this woman is stunning! She just oozes class & beauty! I would never believe that she has a bag because she has this sort of peaceful, understated confidence.
George Clooney has a colostomy bag and also comes across as very peaceful and confident. I guess they've been through a lot and appreciate the importance of kindness and calm in life.
The bag is a big change, so you have to choose to live a happy life with love and kindness or a life in the dark...happy to see a lovely woman inside and outside
Her daughters are so polite and sweet compared to the family members on the US version of the show. The whole family seems so supportive and proud of one another.
Oh ffs, I literally just watched a UK version of the family arguing and the maid of honor completely hating on the dress until the end. 🙄 Don't generalize an entire group.
This is how every single wedding dress fitting should go. People being supportive instead of snarky; giving advice on what the bride wants in her dress instead of trying to convince her to wear what they want her to wear; this is perfect.
This made me teary eye.. I was told I needed to have a total pelvic exteneration to remove a tumor in my vagina and that also entailed in removing the rectum. Her attitude towards her situation is absolutely admirable. I couldn't go forward with the surgery I just emotionally couldn't do it. She's as happy as can be and wearing a beautiful dress. God bless you dear
Mariah Nieto Woah, that sounds like it would be a huge undertaking! You don’t have to justify why you didn’t have the surgery to anyone. Just be as happy and healthy as you can be 💜
I also have an Ostomy and I’m getting married in May! This was my concern too to have it covered, so my mom and I made my dress! It’s perfect and I feel so comfortable. It’s so important not to be worried about people seeing the bag on your wedding day
Afrah Kapadia I have Crohn’s disease, it’s very similar to UC. Just take everything day by day, even hour by hour if you have to, especially during a flare. Concentrate on the moment and try not to worry too much about what the future holds 🌻
@@afrah308 I also have Crohn's disease and have an ostomy bag. My story is similar to this bride on the show. Just try and stay positive and trust your gut about your GI Dr. I truly believe if I would've fired my first GI Dr earlier, I wouldn't have gotten dangerously ill, to the point where I was getting palliative care and ended up with a iliostomy. It was life or death for me. I didn't have a choice. If (knock on wood) that ever happens to you, please know it's NOT the end of the world. I'm constantly hearing and reading about people dying bc they didn't want to have that surgery, but like me, the OP, and the bride in the video, life most definitely goes on. You just have to find the strength and confidence to make sure you live a great life. 💜
Exquisite, the most beautiful bride I've ever seen. I would love to have seen her actual wedding photos. Her daughters and sisters adorable too. I will never understand the carry on and cost of Meghan Markles dress there is just no comparison! This dress was only 2,000 pounds.
I know, right ? Just my opinion but- Meghan Markle's dress looked like an 'unfinished' dress -like, that's the 'base' you start out with before you add anything. It was just -PLAIN .
TheScarlett618 I agree, MMs dress looked ill-fitting in the bodice area and unfinished around the neckline. The rest of MM’s dress was okay. Her veil was beautiful.
I just had my colostomy bag removed last week, I had it for almost 4 years. This video made me teary eyed. It’s rough living with an colostomy bag, but with great supporters, it makes it a little bit better!
The bride and her sister have such beautiful hair. They look so glamorous. The girls are stunning as well. This is such a beautiful family not even just appearance wise. The love and support that radiates between them is so lovely to watch. I’m so happy for the bride and her family; I wish them all the best.
Jahanvi Singh I mean I wish there is some Indian dresses too but I mean I’m not Indian, I’m totally Latina but Indian dresses are totally so beautiful 😍
All of the dresses looked stunning on her! Also her daughters are so sweet, especially the one that was looking out for her emotions. My heart! Such a cute family.
As a younger lady who has UC, it is inspiring to see that even though I may have to have this done, I will still be able to have a beautiful wedding gown.
She actually said " ileostomy" bag, whicn is even more difficult. God Bless her Spirit! Her skin glows, she must be getting all the nutrients.....I am sending this to pts who have have entire colon removed, and wear ileostomy bags.
She is stunning and this is honestly one of the most beautiful dresses I've seen on this show! Both the bride and the dress are lovely! And I love how supportive her family is! ❤
The last three years of my husband’s life he had a colostomy bag due to rectal cancer. So my heart is always touched by ones living with one. This bride was beautiful, as was her family.
I have ulcerative colitis since two years and it is debilitating in so many ways a lot of the times.. but. until now I haven’t even thought about it that, one day I may can’t even wear the dresses that I like, let alone my wedding dress.... it makes me so Sad and afraid...
Thank you so much. I really appreciate the kind words, I just wrote my thoughts here as I am usually not commenting on YT videos. Really did not expect these comments. Thank you🙂
Wow. Well I loved this episode. None of the usual whining and fighting thank goodness. A beautiful bride in a gorgeous dress with a fantastic support group. I would have LOVED to have seen the actual wedding.
The bride is so stunning, and her daughters are so supportive and sweet and they obviously love their mother very much. So great to see such a supportive family.
