I would have loved to see her in another boho dress, but the dress she chose did suit her personality and it was really eye catching. Congratulations! I hope you have a fantastic wedding day and a beautiful marriage.
I agree 💯. I would have also like to see the last two dresses in a shorter version(somewhere between knee and ankle length). That would probably be great for the performance. Either way, she is a beautiful bride!!!! 💞💞
I ALMOST picked this hayley paige dress for my wedding! I was obsessed with it before I went dress shopping and loved it in the store but ultimately went with something slightly different. She looked beautiful!
Here’s an idea, how about we stop putting brides in dresses above their budget? That second dress was well above her budget - good thing she didn’t like it. Hate when brides are put into that situation, but she looks gorgeous in the dress she chose.
Her budget was £2000, approximately $2500. The _Hayley_ _Paige_ dress is $3300. Unless it was on sale? It's in this show as well: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QL5484ECVBE.html
@bina nocht 1 months minimum wage at full time in the UK is currently £1425, so her budget is more than that for a start. But also some people (including myself) can't justify spending that much on a dress. I had a gorgeous a line dress with beading, sequins and lace and it only cost me £180 because it was an unknown designer and a shop sample. I wanted my wedding to be nice (and it was, we got loads of compliments on the ceremony and reception) but it was also frugal. It probably cost around 6000 after it was all said and done. A third of that on the dress alone is a lot of money to a lot of people.
@bina nocht Your original comment said £2000 was a low budget for a dress and now I think you're saying my £6000 wedding was too expensive... Either way the original point of my comment was spend within your means and don't go into debt for a marriage so I guess we are on the same page in the end...
I wish all the mums were like this! Its clear it isn't her favourite but she understands whats important is that her daughter loves it and she wants to be supportive.
The perfect dress for her! I am so glad that her Mum came around. The second dress was stunning on her, but if she didn't feel like herself, she wouldn't have felt comfortable on her wedding day.
And during the whole show to that comment; I kept thinking how pretty she was! I was surprised such a beautiful women thought she wasn't pretty enough. Very endearing - but a little shocking.
@@L.Spencer as I commented all ready it's a common British phrase, my grandmother used it and it was a loving "come on now", or "no way"......not a dismissal. Silly or daft just light words meaning Whaaaaat?
Is it the trend to wear dark roots x 4 inches atop bleached blonde long hair? I'm not being rude I see it on this group and the shoppe girl too, and I see it on TV too. I'm older and out of date from when roots showing was NOT done. So I'm curious.
@@joywebster2678 balayage is a popular method of blending highlights into your actual root color so it looks more natural, and is much lower maintenance than traditional foils. A lot of women (me included) will go 4+ months between touchups, so the women you mentioned in this clip may just have grown out hair. Also, not sure when this came out, but a few years back, ombre hair was really in style, where women would bleach the bottom half of their hair and blend it into a dark color at the roots.
@@tabbyhankell9584 thank you. I learned from your answer so many things. Now I'll stop staring at the ombre group thinking wow bad dye jobs lolol. Thank you!
@@modestferala1488 I searched her name and the name of the show, and the results were a fb page with her first name and her married last name, Frankie Taylor. I hope that helps, sorry I didn't reply earlier.
This bride is soooo gorgeous.. when she said she doesn't consider herself pretty , i died .. she is sooo pretty .. i don't understand how she doesnt see how gorgeous she is 😬
Again David picking out dresses that are definitely not in the brief. Then the consultant doing her job properly! She did look great in the last dress but I do think there are probably better dresses out there for her. 🥰
Wasn't the very first dress that David picked what she loved on the hangar? Only after she put it on did she not like it. Then she wanted to change some of her original desires. And the second dress David picked out was ""funky," and everyone else loved it. Then came the third dress. Who do you think picked that one out? And she loved it and bought it. And you are complaining about him for some reason. I completely don't understand.
@@catladyfromky4142 we just don't like how his sales pitch kills the mood of the show, other consultants show compassion and interest in the brides mood and well being.
The first dress wasn't Boho or not blingy. It was everything she didn't want. The second was a princess dress again something she didn't want. Just saying.
@@stephanieturner5634 Beacause dresses! Much like everyone else we watch for the Brides. They are what's important it's their wedding day and their dress. I don't watch for the consultant or the shop it's about the dresses and the Brides. If you don't want to read comments about David then don't read them. No one forces you to go to the comment section.
She picked the perfect dress for her and looked gorgeous in it. Congratulations lovely lady, your photographs will still look pretty and stylish probably 20 years from now.
I thought the 2nd dress looked THE BEST on her. It was so flattering for her figure. I liked her pick as well but mainly just the skirt portion. I didn’t really care much for the top portion. Honestly, I thought she looked great in them all!
@@paperplate1355 I know they say they don't like it for the drama but if my daughter came out with a glow and smiling cause she loved the dress, I wouldn't ever turn around and say I hated it! It's not my wedding or my dress. I could never do that to my child.
None of these dresses were boho. Apparently David either doesn't understand the concept or ignored the bride's request. She said no princess, no bling, and no poof. What does he pick out? Princess, bling, and poof. Gok would've gotten it right the first time and with every dress he selected.
Very flattering dress as well as a match to her personality. That doesn't happen for everyone. I love when the gal is surprised by the dress that makes her feel like a bride - and herself.
Haha same here. Celebrating 10 years this year. I guess I watch because I mourn over my wedding dress pick. It was a rushed nightmare to find it and I hated my dress so much. But I’m happily married so it doesn’t matter that much. 😂
All of the complaints about David are annoying. If you dislike him so much, don’t watch the show. Also…in case you didn’t know this…they edit for TV. SO…we don’t get to see all the dresses that they actually try on. So there’s no way to know whether or not she tried on more boho dresses or dresses under budget, etc…
Good on ya girl for saying this ❤️ winds me up they slate David 😡 people don’t get they are watching edited 8 mins of an hour show and that they try on loads of dresses x Instead of commenting stupid things they need to get a brain 😂
I don't understand when brides say theyve never seen a dress like it... Or maybe I look at too many wedding dresses 😂 I don't think it's that different tbh
Oh my word! My wedding dress back in 1978 was made in striped fabric like that dress. And I have never seen another dress made with it since until now. (Still married too 😀)
Is it just me or the entourage is supportive in recent episodes of say yes to the dress? Before every 2nd episode used yo be with toxic or very opinionated entourage with a lot of drama! Lol! I like it when whole focus is on brides ♥️ PS: she looked so pretty in the dress she chose 😍
Having doubts about her husband considering how she's putting herself down or... how to say... restraining herself and her comment that they're fighting a lot while she seems very relaxed and warm herself. All the best to her!
Then you would be hated by all the people online who only heard "boho" and complained that David didn't put her in any dresses of that style. Be prepared. They have their knives out for David at every video, and they could redirect them at you.
You realize that this show is in Europe, don't you? Many Europeans greet each other that way, even new people. Do you just look for things to hate David? It seems that way. If you don't like him, don't watch. Then you won't get triggered and annoy those of us who just watch the shows for the dresses.
@@catladyfromky4142 Yeah I'm French so I know what a bise looks like. That kind of kisses make me uncomfortable, and I'm far from being the only one. I'm not hating on anyone, just saying it's weird, calm down.
I really really love this bride she’s soo down to earth with a beautiful perso And she’s soo pretty girl you’re pretty okay🥰🥰❤️❤️ soo beautiful in and out🥰❤️
The appointment was just a big disaster. The consultants just kept convincing her to put on a type of dress that was not her or her style. Gosh...this is getting redundant now
"I want to be different. I'm not the usual bride.... Like what?... Flowers in my hair"... 🤣As I'm looking at black and totally different wedding gowns. I just knew she'll pick a normal, white wedding dress.
I really loved the 2nd dress. I wish the top was more plain so the ruffles were even more on display. I think the top of it made it not right for her. Although her figure looked the best in it. I definitely liked her more with her hair back with the veil than down.
