Bride Karen's self-confidence plummeted after she gave birth to her children, so much that she has delayed her wedding by 11 years because she dreaded dress shopping so much. I love this show and particularly this episode and particularly these shop workers and particularly this family supporting their sister. It's rare to see such love and transformation. These people are modeling the love and respect we should to all people we meet especially parents. I also feel support groups should be offered to all families and parents so people don't hurt this bad. A place where people can go for help with parenting a child anywhere along the life span of raising a child. It's so obvious yet shrouded in secrecy shame and private despair when Even Says I died so you no longer should feel pain and shame because my dearth on the cross was in part for our shame. We need to Talk about what makes us feel better as parents. The Royal Family has bravely Taken this on. Is not now more important then when. Nothing is more important then that families feel loved and that all members are important to be loved. Let's make this happen.

I just want to say how much respect I have for the women running this shop. They're making it about the bride, not about the sell. I never once felt like the bride felt judged for being indecisive, or like consuming their time or anything of the sort. It's always about the bride and her well-being

I felt this same way about trying on wedding dresses. I was down to last two weeks before our wedding before I found a dress that looked somewhat okay. Once I got a corset on, I liked it. I finally loved it on my wedding day especially seeing my husband's tears coming down the isle. Once I got to the alter, he said "you're so beautiful". All self consciousness melted away. The mental struggle is real.

I love how they talk the brides through any self-confidence issues. As a curvy woman and especially after having kids, that is so important. They not only try and find a dress the brides will feel beautiful in, but they help the brides see themselves as beautiful. Jo and Al are amazing women.
