I became so obsessed with this show from the first episode that I watched all of them in 5 days. I kept seeing advertisements for season 3 all over the place so I thought i would try it. I didn’t expect to fall in love with it. And now I can’t wait for part 2 of season 3!!! I also went and got the first 2 books

super late but when courting(daphne and simon where pretending to do) even when things get serious there is always a chaperone so the lady doesn't get compromised.
The TV show changed the order of the 'events from the book and added things that didn't appear in the book. For example, Simon was the one who danced with Penelope at the ball, not Colin. Daphne was not the diamond because if she were, why would she need to get involved in a fake relationship with a guy that she was not interested in? Berbrook and Daphne were around the same age, and we know this because the writers of the TV show careless left in the sentence from the book of Daphne calling Berbrook by his first name, Nigel, which she would have never done if they had an age gap as great as in the TV show. In the book, both characters are attracted to each other from the start, because they weren't, they wouldn't agree to do this. So the TV show writers made some changes that made the TV show not as well written.
I love watching people react; I've seen this season like 5 times now, and I'm still catching things I'd never seen before lol. I never noticed Portia pushed Prudence to bow lower, and that added to passing out lol.
