#bridgertonseason3 #reaction 0:00 Intro 0:37 Reaction 10:44 Conclusion Watch me react to Bridgerton Season 3 Episode 3! This one was so unserious! Colin being jealous was chefs kiss
An interesting fact : during the dance between benedict and tilly, she switches the roles. Benedict is dancing the women's part and she is leading the men's
@justravs I'm sure he'll be heartbroken, he is attracted to powerful women, for me it's a form of protest , in fact he seems vulnerable, and powerful women can easily crush him
I have probably watched this scene 30 times. In my opnion it was brilliant! First Colin has that conversation with Violet. On the Netfilx video at 11:25 to 11:10 (minutes left) you can here Colin's heart beating. Colin is constantly surveling the room in search of Penelope. He interupts coversations and removes himself to stare at her. And once he approaches Pen, that amazing musical score is playing in the background. He appears to be in a hypnotic state, dumbstruck. He's somewhere between wanting to kiss her and expressing his feelings. But he can't quite get the words out. And then Debling interrupts. Pen knows something is up with Colin and seems like deep down inside she knows. Which is why I belive she hesitated when Debling asked for a dance. And in the final scene of Colin, he glassy eyes, and looks on at Debling and Pen dancing. You could see how crushed he was because he finally realized how much he loved her but that he may have blown his chances. This was definitely one of my favorite scenes.❤
It's definitely one of my favourite scenes as well. "Colin, have you seen Francesca" He can't see anything besides Penelope. He could dance with anyone he pleased to but he never does because he it too busy looking at her. I also like the contrast between him in episode 1 where he acts like a casanova flirting with woman and in this scene where he is unable to speak while looking at her. Great job writers 👏
I love the little details, like that cake scene of Colin licking his lips, and later we can see him eating the same cake and savoring it like come on, we all know what he's thinking about 😂
I laughed so hard when you said "awww look at her smile" and started laughing at Colin's devastation 😂 you match my energy 100%. I cannot wait for episode 4 😂
Everything about this episode is so freaking adorable. From their awkward conversation under the tree to him trying to rescue her from the balloon basket, and of course, pining for her the whole length of the ball/episode. Don’t forget about Mama Bridgerton, knowing what to say and supporting him. It’s just one of my favorite episodes this season so far.
Idk if you caught it in your watch through but one of my favorite details about Colin trying to talk to Pen after his conversation with Violet is that you can see Violet in the background of the shot watching Colin trying to speak with Pen and then get interrupted by Debling
She even peeks her head around a person to see 🤣 but I saw somewhere the actress was offered the option to go home but she said it was important she be in the background so she stay extra hours 🤌🏾👏🏾🥹
You had that pillow ready to go! Personally, I think Cressida's sleeves are a metaphor for the weight her parents are putting on her shoulders. I need your episode 4 reaction. I broke my wrist yesterday (not carriage related) and I NEED THE REACTION, lol.
The pillow is on STANDBY 🤣🤣🤣 ooo I like the symbolism of the sleeves if that’s the case! Episode 4 reaction coming soon - let’s just say I was SILENCED
As opposed to Colin, who never does and has always been inappropriate with Penelope: - Taking her hand so they could dance (without signing her card). - Taking her hand and leading her out of crowded ballrooms into rooms with closed doors, alone. - Touching her hands without her wearing gloves. - Locking eyes with her. - Being alone with her. That's why he never thought of her as a sister, even if he took his sweet time to realize it.
I think it was the showrunner that said Cressida's costumes are an allusion to caged birds, especially in that oppressive house, because she's under total control of her shitty parents.
Tbh I feel bad for Cressida even more than previous seasons. In s1 she might've had a chance at a prince if Daph and Simon dealt with their bs sooner. And it all went downhill from there, no one is seriously interested in her. Sure, she's a bully to Pen, but we see how little push she needed to get better in ep2. She's very much like Pen's sisters, with a little more self-reflection but same cutthroat family that raised her.
She's mean to Pen because she's competition and not higher than her in the hierarchy like Eloise. In the past seasons, she never spoke ill of Eloise even when she'd snap back at her also because she had single brothers. Cressida like Pen's mom are all about survival, they know that they're on borrowed time if they don't find someone of higher rank to marry. She's a product of her environment, it's still wrong but it is what it is. I do think that Pen's mom like Cressida can be good when they want to be.
@@user-dx2dm8oq8g yeah, totally agree. Cressida's also higher in hierarchy than Pen's sisters yet somehow they're married (because Portia supported them as well as she could) and she's not, even though by all accounts she's ought to be since she's prettier, more stylish, and from a better family. It's also interesting how Cressida called Pen "Psyche", it could be another "Cressida doesn't know what she's talking about", but could also be admission that she does think that Pen is pretty and that might be part of that jealousy. I'm really curious if we'll see non-hostile interactions from Penelope+Cressida+Eloise, cause that would be REALLY interesting, to witness Eloise finally seeing the real Pen, for Cressida to apologize and for Penelope to mend things with El and maybe begrudgingly accept Cressida? Cause Penelope and Cressida are clearly foils of each other and just need a bit of love and care to come out of their shells, even if one shell is shyness and another bullying 😬
